I hear you man. I love to win but at the same time we are fucking ourselves in the draft. We are not making the playoffs. Now we get 4 points in two games? Why the fuck now?

This teams definitely ridiculous but I'll never cheer for my team to lose. Play hard and deal with things later. Heck even if they finished dead last you know they won't get first pick so why bother getting frustrated.

One hell of a game from Timonen....and I guess Jake thought he was doing the right thing.

How did Lauredson do?

He wasn't bad took a couple of penalties but IMO was better than the scratched dman. Love his reach but still needs to find his way. Definitely has a future!

I thought he did pretty well for someone who just got thrown into the fire.

Yes exactly. He handled himself well but needs more time to adjust to the nhl game. This experience will serve him well I'd like to see more of him!

Anyone have any recent updates on the injury status of the half of our team that is out? This is absolutely ridiculous. Timonen and Schenn were really our only two solid defensemen in that last game.

I just feel like we could potentially get railroaded here moving forward without a defense past the top pairing. That said, our offense should be scoring 4-5 goals a game a lot more often than it has this year, which takes a lot of pressure off the defense and the goalie. We're just dreadful at even strength. To be 14th in goals per game for this group of players in this offensive system is completely embarrassing. It's time to turn it around.

I believe in this team despite all of this and I think we should still explore all options via trade, but I'm not selling the farm for a rental. If it's a sign and trade type of situation or we're consolidating some of our depth for a better player, that's more beneficial.

I would just like to add that we wont miss Coburn and his anything but stellar play this season and Mezz was just a mess the few games he did play Onward and upward with our young defensemen and the ones who come via the trade deadline.

I think we'll def miss Coburn. Eats a lot of mins, plays all situations. Not having a great year but still one of our better dmen.
