Yep loved the game tonight told you guys not to give up pens shaking in their skate boots now! Hopefully Grossmann's back soon that would give them a boast on D but the Phantoms are holding up nicely. Laurd had a very quiet but nice game which was great to see. Luke well he kicked ass jvr with a nice effort but Luke won this battle.

Bryz was a little up and down but did enough for the win which is fine by me. I'm sure he's a little tired they'll need to get Mason in there soon maybe Sat? He's in a perfect situation to get his game back would love to see it happen....

Gags starting to gel with Fed and Knubes who would've thunk it...wicked goal tonight happy for the guy!

grossman's return should be a huge boost. and hopefully kimmo's injury isn't anything serious. we need him badly. since it looks more and more like this team has a better shot of the playoffs, how far do you realistically think our D corps can take us?

to be honest, i'm pleasantly surprised with how lauridsen has looked, and gustaffson has been pretty decent as well.. they might be kids but they are holding up well. maybe theres just a better chemistry without coburn and mez?

if we make the playoffs our top 6 would be kimmo, schenn, grossman, gervais, huskins and lauridsen/gustaffson most likely. is this a D corp capable of winning a round or two?

we did make it to the ECF with a patchwork defense in 08..

just the inner fan in me trying to be overly optimistic.. but man this team has me excited again with this winning streak..
