I don't agree with it being a no goal. Slowing it down it looks like a kick but it happened so fast in real time, I don't think it was kicked.

Ugh, can't we just get one by Emery without the refs waiving it off?

@davegisaac: When Malkin has nightmares about Couturier, I wonder if they’re in Russian, French or English.

I wouldn't attribute this to Couturier tonight...he's been in a crazy slump. Frustrating to watch really. That said, he probably does have said nightmares.

Remember when the Pens used to have a good offense?

Good game Flyer fans, you deserved the W tonight.

Doobster wishes it were the weekend so he could go to the bar right now.

Anyone think these Flyers aren't going to make the playoffs? I beg to differ.

Eh, I'll hold off until they are actually IN a playoff spot. We are, like every other team, a few injuries away from being toast.

In particular, injuring any of the maybe three forwards we have that score goals this year (Vinny, Schenn, or Vinny) would be a not good thing. Our goalies need to keep it up too.

Also, props to the ESPN crew. According to the front page:

The Swamp said:
Brayden Schenn netted two goals against the rival Penguins, and the Flyers have earned five points in their past six games after a horrid start.

Five points in six games isn't exactly recovering from a horrid start. We have NINE in six; we've won three in a row. Proofread your shit!

We will be IN a playoff spot by the end of the month. I predicted this after a loss when we were 3-8 and in last place in the division.

You listed two guys. Read, Hartnell, Voracek and Giroux are starting to score as well, that is, unless their 10 goals don't count. If you don't think G is going to start scoring, then you haven't been watching the games. The guy is about to catch fire. He's playing with the edge and passion that we all love him for.

The goaltending has only been getting better as we score more goals and play more of a complete puck pursuit game all over the ice.

What you're telling me is common sense. Instead, tell me I'm wrong and eat crow at the end of the month...lol
