Riders destroy Hamilton again on the weekend, 5-0 now, Kory Sheets showing no signs of slowing down.

It's hard to gauge how good this Riders team is due to the fact that the Ti-Cats defense is like swiss cheese, but they have a great balance on offense with a strong running and passing game.

Braley Bowl tonight at Rogers Centre - The Lions have won 16 of the last 17 games against the Arrrrrrrrgos.

The Marsh unnecessary roughness call was . As for the 3-to-1 on that play at the end of the half, I have no idea what the refs saw there.

That said, the Leos look flat tonight. Benevides will be peeling paint in the dressing room.

Kirby Fabien to the hospital with a knee injury. His left knee was heavily iced. BC expect him to travel home with them on Wednesday. Hope its nothing serious as that could be a big loss.

Torn knee ligaments for Fabien, done for the season. That's a shame, he was playing great in his rookie campaign for the Leos (played his college ball at my alma-mater).

did that guy not exude arrogance standing on the sidelines? maybe its just what i was wanting to see cause I expected it from a guy coming up after running 1 successful ncaa program

the qb won here and its interesting because its an aging qb ... albeit the best ever (statistically) in the cfl

will be interesting to see how this parallels with Trestmans experience with the Bears

the one thing about Trestman though is that when he was hired by the Als he came into the room and asked the Als vets to help him through the learning curve of the cfl and relied heavily on their input to structure an offense (sounds like hawkins didnt do that whatsoever)

Im cheering for Trestman and I hope if it comes down to it and there is conflict between he and ole dart puffer, the qb doesnt win out with the Bears

I watched a Bears clip on TSN with Trestman and Jay Cutler, it appears I can't refer to Cutler as the fat tub of goo any longer, he looked pretty trim and slim.

I don't think Calvillo will ever get as much respect as he deserves because let's be honest, the East Division aside from the Als has sucked for a good portion of his career and he has piled up some great numbers against some pretty bad teams.

/I think I would still put Flutie and Moon over Calvillo in any case.

It's a real shame if that is indeed the case, can't question the guy's toughness, he's taken some hellacious hits over his career.

/Ottawa Redblacks will have a bevy of good young QB's to select from in the December expansion draft, bodog currently has Collaros instilled as the favo(u)rite, followed by Bo Levi Mitchell.
