Well, now it sounds like he's staying: Tennessee Vols' Cuonzo Martin declines Marquette overture

As first reported on 247Sports, Tennessee basketball coach Cuonzo Martin removed his name from consideration for the head coaching job at Marquette, a source close to the situation said early Tuesday morning.
Martin, who coached the Vols to a late-season push into the NCAA Tournament and then into the Sweet Sixteen before losing a close game to Michigan on Friday in Indianapolis, has been at Tennessee for three seasons and compiled a 63-41 record, including a 24-13 mark this season. Tennessee’s coach met with Marquette on Sunday before meeting at least twice with Tennessee officials — including athletic director Dave Hart — on Monday. Martin, according to the source, plans to stay at Tennessee unless “something crazy happens. ”It’s believed that Martin and Tennessee have been negotiating a raise and extension from his current contract, which paid him approximately $1.3 million (pre-incentives) and was ranked 10th in the Southeastern Conference.
