Doubtful. I think the Tiger's right-handed dominated pitching staff works in Huff's favor, but I'd still rather give all of Huff's potential AB to Hector.

Agreed on both points, EXCEPT that Chez3 is the backup C and we can't really burn him as a PH.

All his opinions are immediately dismissed with his mention of the "left-field cove at AT&T Park." In fact, a statement that false going unnoticed should dismiss any ESPN opinion on baseball.

Virtual rep.

Actually, just the letters E-S-P-N should dismiss any opinion about baseball from said source.

Peralta ahead of Crawford was hilarious.

Yeah, I like our guy Crawford. Defense wins championships. And white men can jump! He's improved at the plate as the year's gone along.

Peralta is really, really hitting well. It's not an unreasonable opinion.

Noted. For some reason I thought I saw that he was not hitting well in the post season.

Verlander is a beast. Going to be very very difficult scoring off of him. He's not just only a post season pitcher. He's been like this all year. If Zeets can baffle their offense with his asortment of slow stuff we can make Game 1 very interesting. If Zeets can hold the line somewhere in the vacinity of 2 runs (over 7) than anything can happen. A dunk, a walk and a blast .... that's what I'm hoping for.

But, in all honesty their offense is scary ....

They've got two guys who can really hurt you, but one is sucking ass right now. And he's even fatter than Panda.

Just tell MVP and Panda it's the ASG. We know what happened then.

Austin Jackson is a heck of a player too. And as you've pointed out Peralta is hitting well, and Delmon Young is dangerous too.

This is a tough matchup, but then again any team is in the playoffs.

We either got the gods on our side or we don't, simple as that. Let the SSS festival commence!

Same thing could have been said about Cincy. They had more offense and deeper pitching.

Detroit has strong SP, weak RP, and 2 super-stud bats.

It will be a tough series, but momo is on our side.

Having three good lefty specialists out of the pen makes me feel better, too. I'm really glad Victor Martinez took the old school route with rehabbing that ACL.
