Is there another former player out there who rides the cock of a team he never played for as hard as Byrnes does? Dude played for 4 MLB teams and had an 8 or 9 year career, but he is the BIGGEST Giants homer in all of media (next to MAYBE Chris Russo).

Byrnes is truly a big time Giants fan. I guess my wife, who only watches baseball because of me, picked up on this because after seeing Byrnes on one of the postgame shows, she asked me if Byrnes played for the Giants. I told her that he played for the A's, but grew up a Giants fan.

Im sure he was trying to generate more hate for himself from Giants fans. He's just playing the heel. Was it game one where he sat next to Kerros in the bleachers? Karros said he was safe as long as AJ was next to him, i.e. since the crowd would string up AJ first.
