Finally everything is shaping up.

There's a New Winter Classic Logo Floating Around, and This One Looks Damn Real - Crossing Broad




Also - lol at everyone who bought the fake jerseys as this is just another sign that those photoshops were just someone messing around instead of leaked photos

Looks pretty good but they should have a cheesesteak sammich on it somewhere. Ever time I get to Philly I make it a point to get one of those you just can't get them anywhere else that are even close to being REAL cheesesteaks!

But this one is different... It very closely matches the styling of the 2009, 2010, and 2011 logos. What's more, unlike the obviously fake logo released earlier this summer, this one very prominently features the game's title sponsor, Bridgestone. It's also complete with all appropriate ***8482; and registraton markings. The design elements, which include a swinging puck (used the three previous years) in the bell and hues from both teams' color sets worked seamlessly into the logo, also give this one a little more credibility.

Any decent designer could easily mock up a fake consistent with past ones and it's not hard to stick a TM or (R) on something , but it does look pretty real. With all the merch they create and sell, it does seem very believable the logo would be approved and complete by now.

This is way in advance, but for anyone going, a few things...

-Make sure you thoroughly go through the village and the area around the stadium before the game. They have all kinds of giveaways and a lot of people I was with missed them.
-If you want to make back some money on your ticket, bring a plastic bag in your pocket to put all your chotchkies in. I sold the ticket stubs, fan guide, seat pads, and a free pair of binocs with Classic logo on them for like $60 after the Classic was over. Crap I was just going to shove in a draw. If you are one of the first to get it on Ebay, you could make like $100 off it. Kinda ridiculous, but hey, money for stuff you got for free.

That is fake. They are not allowed to show that on the scoreboard yet since the game is not official. That never happened.

I really liked the Original/Fake one, but this one totally blows it out of the water.
