What are they going to trade to get this pitching?

KC has a lot of minor league talent that they can develope or use as trade bait. They may not win the Central this year they will be tough in a couple of years if they hang on to it and stay healthy.

Matt Kemp is unstoppable right now. I knew taking him over Miggy was the right choice!

Think they graduated. Hochevar was on top of a short list. Not sure what they have left. OP suggested they could trade for SP help. My point was that it will take a bunch of prospects to get SP help for this year and then they are dry for another decade. And if they trade positional players ... those are the guys who got them where they are now.

Danny Duffy, Mike Montgomery, Jake Odorizzi, John Lamb, and Chris Dwyer are all names I've heard mentioned in the last couple years, some of dealt with injuries and inconsistency since the beginning of last year, but still plenty of time for them to turn it around

KC has sensational pitching prospects. They've also got some real nice position prospects as well. They aren't going to be great for a while but the team does have a nice future. It will be nice to be able to actually sit down and watch a Royal game without gagging. Since Brett retired it has been very ugly.

LOL, that umpire is full of it if he says he was "just getting out of the way, never waved my hands". He TOTALLY gives the signal of a dead ball.

That was the first 2-5-6-3 in MLB history LOL. That's what I love about this game. You never know when you're about to see something insane like that. Could happen on any pitch.

With all the talk about the Royals Great Prospects, The Texas Rangers Farm System was ranked Number 1 by Baseball America. All of us Rangers Fans sure have a lot to look forward to.

I think that is old news...I don't think they are ranked #1 anymore...top 5 or 7 still I believe due mostly to alot of those players no longer being prospects...I could be wrong though
