KillerMoFo.. "How would you know?", asks Nick from new jersey.

Is anyone afraid of our Starting line-up? Not in the MLB.

This line-up would have looked better with Hanley Ramirez at 3RD, Polly at 2ND, and don't or do sign JRoll at SS, or Galvis. Chase is cooked for part of 2012, and Done in 2013. Howard may see some action, but it will be pooh-pooh for 2012. Power comes from the legs, he only has one. Derek Lee would have been the choice at 1ST.

What a waste of 3 All-Star Starting Pitchers. Phils needs to average nearly 4.5 Runs-per-game to be serious contenders, we are looking at 3 RPG/Avg.

In hindsight, Dum Brown fucked this whole thing up by not knowing how to 'catch da ball' and 'tro to da righ' cut-off dude. Chase' honesty is also in question.

Besides all this, we'll be fine.... :dizzy::whip:

I'm not sure Polly can play 2nd at this stage of his career and I don't think Ruben will ever bring a cancer like Hanley into our Clubhouse, he talks all the time about staying away from players like that and I agree with him. I still believe we have the best team in Baseball but it's a lot closer.

I'll ask Nick when I see him at my show in AC Saturday night.

Would these Players make it a little scarier?

1. SS Jimmy Rollins

2. 3B Placido Polanco/Hanley Ramirez/Mark Trunbo

3. CF Shane Victorino

4. RF Hunter Pence

5. LF John Mayberry Jr
.

6. 1B Ty Wigginton/Derek Lee
/
7. C Carlos Ruiz

8. 2B Freddy Galvis

Trumbomb would be nice.

Philly.com Sports writers indicate that Hanley Ramirez gets a bad rap and isn't a Cancer as he's made out to be.

This sounds good:

Latest On Phillies, Cole Hamels
By Ben Nicholson-Smith [March 28 at 3:30pm CST]
The Phillies know how much it will cost to lock Cole Hamels up to an extension, and the sides appear to be making progress toward a long-term deal, Jim Salisbury of CSNPhilly.com reports. No deadline exists, but Opening Day looms as an unofficial turning point for the negotiations.

One person tells Salisbury that the Phillies are prepared to pay the left-hander in excess of $20MM per season on a multiyear deal. However, contract length is an issue, as the Phillies prefer a four-year agreement, while Hamels and agent John Boggs want more.

Another person said talks have been progressing and predicted the sides will reach an agreement. This means there’s still a chance the Phillies will keep Hamels off of the open market and away from potential bidders like the Dodgers and Yankees. The 28-year-old is on track to hit free agency after the 2012 season.

This DOES sound good. Dodgers would most likely be our main competition, not for the money, but the West Coast location.

Dodgers are going to spend, spend, spend, and that could spell more trouble!:eek2:

I don't need Philly Sport Writers, I've seen the guy kick the ball into LF then walk after it while the bases were being cleared, then he got benched because he wouldn't apologize to his team. Yeah he can play but we need to play smart team ball and not me ball. Lol
