I've always been a fan of, well, not running it up, but to keep on playing. These are pros that shouldn't get their jimmies rustled if they get scored on a bunch. But fake punts up 30 in the 4th quarter? Can't say I like that. Karma is a bitch sometimes.

At this point, I'd say yeah. They've been out of the playoff discussion for a few weeks now, when so many other teams, including TB and even the Saints, were still playing must-win games.

Agreed. I don't think teams should back off, but a fake punt in those circumstances is a bit of a dick move.

I totally agree with this post.
There is a difference from continuing to play the game and actually running up the score. No need at all for a fake punt.
