Im drunk but I'll post more later! Great job London for reminding Saint John that they are the Sea Dogs and not the Sea Gods! All year people were saying Corbeil was the weakness (they said that about DeSerres last year) but he was the one that kept them in it. The defense was horrible tonight. Huberdeau has been playing like a punk and needs to stay out of the box and play a cleaner game! I met the dude many times and he's a nice kid but has been a very dirty player lately!

I took my neice to meet Huberdeau one game and he thanked me and her! He was doing the same for all kids and seniors that asked for his autograph! He was thanking them instead of acting like a star. But after 3 years in SJ he has all of a sudden developped a mean streak and I don't like it!

Pretty good game between Shawinigan and London tonight - The Cats lead 4-2 early in the 3rd period. Two goals (one for each team) have been waved off so far.

Oh man, what a great scrap! Those young kids have a tremendous amount of energy. That will be posted on youtube soon, I'm sure.

I thought Max Domi was a pretty good offensive talent, but he's spending time in the sinbin much like his father.

Phoenix (or wherever they end up) has a keeper in Brandon Gormley. Great looking defenseman.

London gets their butts handed to them tonight so they decide to goon it up in the final minute. Max Domi has been a little punk tonight.

What the hell Mark Hunter, get some control of your team (guys throwing punches from the bench). He was always a punk when he played for the Oilers, I see things haven't changed.

Great win for Shenanigans tonight, they really played their asses off and really handed it to London. It's looking like there's no real dominant team at the Memorial Cup this year, which makes it that much more exciting. The Oil Kings will put themselves in the driver's seat with a win tomorrow, though if Saint John wins everyone will be sitting at 1-1 after two games, which if I did my research correctly has never happened since the Memorial Cup expanded to 4 teams.

I didn't realize how young London's team is. Next year they're going to be very good as well. Athenasu impressed me with his speed & skill. It will be interesting to see where he goes in the draft.

Gormley is the real deal. Very impressed with his overall game. He also seems to find a way to get the puck on net. The Yotes got themselves a good one.

That looks like a good goal to me (i.e. no high stick). It should be 1-1

Edit: And it is.

Pelss has been a pretty big factor in every game I've seen him in.
which is really too bad, as he's an Oilers' prospect.

3-2 Sea Dogs after two periods - Should be a great third period.

Sea Dogs win 5-2 - All four teams are tied with 1-1 records (first time that has happened since the tourney went to four teams in 1983), thus goal differential could easily come into play.

Well that is more like it. The Sea Dogs are starting to get use to playing against teams at their own level. They still showed some signs of frustration early but eventually calmed down. That was an absolutely brutal slash to the skate by Beaulieu. I don't know what he was thinking. It didn't seem to hurt the player but it was completely uncalled for.

I know the commentators made reference to goal differential but I don't see how it can come into play. Unless they changed the rules since last year the tie-break for 1st is head to head record. Goal differential only comes into play if there are 3 teams at 2-1 with the 4th team being 0-3. After this round robin there are going to be 2 teams at 2-1 and 2 teams at 1-2. Head to head would determine who gets the bye to the finals with the other team going to the semis. The 2 1-2 teams would then play a tie-breaker. That's what happened last year at least.

Yeah julian, I think you're right, maybe it's the heat at Centre Bionest that has Sam Consentino confused.
