yep

Bad news for Stamps. Returner Larry Taylor (knee) on nine-game injured list. Done until at least West final #cfl

Looks like it will be kick returner by committee (Armstead, LaMarcus Coker, and Keon Raymond)

/although I don't want Raymond back there as he's too valuable as a DB

Interesting stuff pulled from the Calgary Herald:

As well, while Taylor is on the nine-game list, he can be taken off early. He will undergo arthroscopic surgery later this month to repair the damage, and much like defensive back Quincy Butler, the recovery time is three to four weeks, so it’s conceivable we could see Taylor in late October.

Here's hoping Larry is a fast healer...

It's probably worth noting that 24 of Winnipeg's 27 points came in last week's loss to Sask. (25-24). The previous week they were bombed 52-0 and last night the Stamps took them to the woodshed to the tune of 44-3.

just turned on Edm-Ham game.

Edm with their 3rd QB of the afternoon in, in the red zone, a few seconds left in the 3rd.
TD called back by penalty. 10 yards back
next play TD called back on a penalty, 15 yards back
next play QB tries to pick up some yards scrambling, slides headfirst and gets crushed
Kerry Joseph comes back in, gets crushed (roughing the passer) for 15 yards and 1st down
next play (can't end the quarter on a penalty, remember) Joseph fumbles, and Hamilton recovers.

awful ugly football. took 10m to play about 2 seconds, and move the football about 8 yards total.
(hamilton up 37-8, btw)

beatdown continues.
Hamilton (who was 3-7 coming into today) curbstomps the Eskimos.
I don't mind seeing that one bit.

Edmonton scored the first 8 points, Hamilton got the next 51

three BC turnovers has this game waaaaay closer than it should be. 18-13 BC after 3.
net yards about 430-200. Gore / Lulay have been terrific so far

Defense got Tor's only major so far on a goofy play. BC fumble, lineman runs it back get caught and fumbles himself at about the 5, BC guy misses it on the way by (should have booted it through the end zone), Toronto guy falls on it in the endzone

also, how good of a name is Swayze Waters?

*phew* again, closer than it should have been, but big finish by the defense.
28-23 Leos in the Brady Bowl. a bit of emotion at the end.

Ouch - Next to Calvillo, this guy is probably the biggest offensive weapon on the Als.

TSNDaveNaylor: Brandon Whitaker gone for the season, requires surgery for torn ACL in right knee. #cfl #als

if hamilton could solve their defensive issues they would be my choice

I think I would still be leaning towards the Arrrrrrrrrrgos, their defense can keep them in games and Ray still has enough magic in his noodly arm.

/Besides, do we think CFL refs are going to keep the Argos out of the 100th Grey Cup game in Toronto?
