If they are genuine about wanting to re-sign Beltran, and they are giving the RF job to Schierholtz....does that mean they'd want Beltran in CF?

On the small chance they do get him, they will want him in left field at least as often as right. It will depend on matchups how they split the positions with Schierholtz and Belt. Plus you gotta figure Beltran's old ass will spend at least some time out of the lineup, even if he's not hurt, just to rest him.
Where he plays is the least of the worries. Affording him is. His agent is Scott Boras. 'Nuff said.
Here's a breakdown from Schulman of Sabean's 2012 Priorities...
Sabean discusses his priorities for 2012 (hint: you probably won’t be seeing him holding up a Prince Fielder or Albert Pujols jersey at a press conference) | San Francisco Giants: The Splash | an SFGate.com blog
Looks like Affeldt is coming back. Backup catcher is a priority. Sanchez and Zito will battle for the 5th spot. Keeping the pitching staff together is top prioity. Will try to resign Beltran...
Yeah that makes sense. My question was more along the lines of how genuine the comments were because I don't think there is much of a chance that IF we nab Beltran that Schierholtz will be our everyday RF
To lazy to look it up, but I'm pretty sure there is a good chance our bull pen gets rapped like the Rays did last year. Lopez and Affedlt are good as gone, they are the two best leftie RP on the market
Casilla, Romo, and RamRam are all due significant raises
Wilson is already expensive
They cant afford to keep everyone.
Nah, RamRam will be the only one to depart. Casilla will make no more than 2 mil, Romo no more than 1.5 (first year of arbitration). Affeldt, as stated, is part of the blood of this organization, he ain't going anywhere. Lopez should be back, though I think at a little more than 2/6. Maybe 2/8. The market for relievers is insane the last few years.
I think Affeldt's return spells the departure of Lopez. Don't need both.
Different pitchers though. Affeldt can get both righties and lefties out. And he has the ability to get the ground ball. Lopez, as you said, is a LOOGY. If we can afford to have both, prime. But yeah I know afford...
I stand corrected. We can USE both, but won't be able to afford both.
And the FO likes Affeldt. If we somehow do keep both, Runzler to the minors.
Can someone find a list of FA pitchers, relievers and starters please
Seriously, dude. You've heard of this thing called Google right???
