I dont want to spend on any pricey FAs.

-Tender Sandoval,Scheirholtz,J Sanchez,Fontenot-Non tender Torres then give him the chance to come back on a cheap contract

-Offer Vogelsong a 2/8 to buy out his arbitration years

-Let Derosa,Cabrera,Ross,Burrell,Stewert and Whiteside walk

-There will be cheap options to fill holes from other clubs non tenders as well as a possible trade

-Keep our pitching staff, Rotation-Lincecum,Cain,Bumgarner,Vogelsong,Surkamp/Sanchez-bullpen Wilson,Romo,Lopez,Ramirez,Casilla,Runzler,Edlefson ,Zito-Let Mota walk excersize the buyout option on Affeldt

CF-?,Torres or trade or cheap FA
RF-Schierholts
C-Posey
3B-Sandoval
1B-Pill
LF-Belt
2B- Sanchez
SS- Crawford
P- Lincecum

Bench:
OF-cheap FA
IF-Fontenot
1B-Huff
C-Sanchez
UT-cheap FA

I would love to see a J Sanchez for G Sizemore swap to fill CF but I dont want to spend on FAs cept for 1 year cheap deals to give guys like Brown,Panik,Dominguez,Peguero,Adrianza and others a chance to rise to the ML level and earn a spot. The big splash predictions I leave to the rest of you

I would be against a 2/8 for Vogey. He wavered at the end of the year and has not shown NEAR enough to lock up that kind of scratch. I think a 2/5 should be MORE than enough. Have we forgotten Torres already?

I would be THRILLED to see if they can ink DeRo for a cheap (1/3) deal.

If PTMFB can play, and there is still a spot for a 5th OF at the end of the off season, offer him a 1/1. If not, make him a roving coach (hell, maybe boot BamBam and keep him on the big team there) and fully indoctrinate him into the Giants Alumni Association.

Stewie gets a 1/.75 deal. Take it or leave it. Chez3 will do fine as the backup if needed.

Ross is non-tendered. Try to sign him to a 1/3 OR wait until the end of the off-season and invite him to ST as a non-roster invitee (giving him one of those out-clauses).

Cabrera and Whitey need to RUN through the door, because it will close fast, and they really dont want it hitting them in the ass on the way out.

Torres AT BEST gets a non-roster invite.

He re-upped with Baltimore for 3 more years iirc.

Aw, what might've been if Sabean had listened to tzill and snatched up Hardy over MigE6. It was around this time last year that Mr. Zill convinced me JJ would be a better and cheaper fit than Jhonny Peralta. So goes it. Now Bring Him Susac!

What do you think the Giants would have to part with to get J.J. Hardy? Would J. Sanchez and a B Prospect get it done?

Since we can 'make stuff up' .....
I think we can't get much of anything without trading something of value ....
Let's say we go to Cleveland and ask about Cabrera (SS) and Sizemore (CF). Sizemore had an off year. He's better than his numbers this year. The question is - what would we be willing to make a deal similar to that. Cleveland needs pitching -

I think it'll be Cuddyer and Rollins. Both should be available on 2/16 type deals.

But, I may be wrong on that.....

You'd maybe have a shot at Sanchez and Christian and Pill for Sizemore.

But Cabrera? Whatchoo smokin'? He's arguably the best SS in the AL.

We are talking about wishful thinking, right? :hungry:

That might be the lineup come the ASB, but Huff will get a chance to start 2012 at 1B.

And I have to think, just to keep Tim and Matt and Bum from blowing gaskets, that they will spend at least SOME money on FAs, like Crisp and/or Rollins. Also, where's Freddy Sanchez?
