So the Beal to the Lakers chatter is starting up again.

This time it's s&t Schroder and sending along Kuzma or someone for him. That one came from Jason McIntyre.

It would be great for the Lakers if it could be done. Don't think it can though.

Mathews could barely crack the rotation.

Maybe Vogel should have played him more, but again, they missed Green terribly. More than any other player from last season IMO.

Any shooter would've helped, but yes. Mathews lost his spot due to his shooting slump early on. He was supposed to back up KCP, and they moved to more minutes for THT pretty quickly. He's still too erratic to depend on for shooting or defense though; a work in progress. Should eventually be at least a plus defender, if not a 3 pt threat too.

Definitely. It wasn't his suggestion though, came from McIntire. I figured the Beal rumors would start again, since like Dame, he questioned his future with his current team recently. More likely they move Westbrook IMO. Before it starts up, no NOT to the Lakers. Would be a terrible fit anyway.

Yeah, I actually wouldn't mind him coming back on the right deal. I think part of the problem was just not getting enough time on the floor with Lebron and AD.

Magic was being interviewed on a local show and he had some great suggestions for AD for the off-season.

He said that AD needs to get with his trainer, lose a little bit of weight, work on adding strength without adding bulk and that he also needs to hire a physical therapist to help him with his various nagging injuries.

He also said that Kareem was able to play until he was 42 because he got into stretching and yoga long before it became "sexy" to do and that AD should be doing that as well Said it would help with the various strains and pulls that he seems to get every year.

He said that he shouldn't just do it in the off-season either. Those are things he can do in season as well.

i dont know why Lakers fans/reporters think anyone wants Kuzma. At 13M he just doesnt have much value. Finding a power forward who is meh on defense and can score a little bit is probably the easiest thing to find in the NBA.
