Even though i said Lakers in 5 i think this may go 7. Suns are going to play with a chip on their shoulder with everyone picking the Lakers
The Lakers have a lot of big bodies in AD, Drummond, and even James.
Plus, we're deep. Schroder didn't play well last night but it might take him a few games to recover from Covid. Maybe even this series, but we have players to throw at CP in Schroder, Caruso and Matthews.
They will.Last night, Drummond, Harrell and Gasol played a combined total of 25 minutes.
They need to be able to go big against smaller lineups occasionally, or the Drummond signing was a waste.
The Drummond signing won't ever be a waste considering what they are paying him. He basically replaced Howard.Last night, Drummond, Harrell and Gasol played a combined total of 25 minutes.

If the Lakers play like they did in the 2nd half last night, this series is over in 5
If they play like they did in the whole game, it could indeed go to 7
Lakers played well in the 2nd half but as good as they played, Warriors had a shitload of unforced turnovers in the 2nd half. Without half of those mistakes then the Warriors still likely win

Can make a great case that Howard on the Lakers> Drummond on the Lakers

Right now, sure. He hasn't been on the team that long and has something like 4 games with Lebron and AD. Let's see what happens once everyone has gelled.
The "playoffs" haven't even started.....LOL.16 minutes in the play in game is pretty telling.
Perhaps he plays a major role against Utah or Philly down the road and makes the move pay dividends.
But if the Lakers play small against every other opponent, they aren’t maximizing the talent in their roster.
And I say that believing that some of their most effective lineups occur with all 3 bigs on the bench.
WHO DO YOU HAVE?Obviously the health of the Lakers is likely the story in this one. I don’t think either Lebron or Davis are completely healthy, Phoenix is good enough to push them enough to find out.
CP has made 300 million during his career and is worth 130 million.....I wonder what the chances are he opts out this offseason to chase a ring.....
