I've got an idea that may spice up hoops and put Jordan back in play

Normally we draft 12 guys, but no one cares about the end of the bench
I say this draft, you get 10 players, all 10 have to play 24 minutes each. You grade them in a one game scenario

This would limit Jordan's minutes to 24 and make pics 8, 9 and 10 as important as pick one
I also think we should make it all time, any year, BUT, you can't have 2 guys from the same organization.... so If you draft Magic, no Kareem(you could take him as a Buck, but then you couldn't draft another Bucks player. Once a guy is picked, he's ineligible to be picked by someone else)

Also, each round of the playoffs, you can cut/add one player from the team you defeated, as long as you have no other players from the team he played for

Sounds fun. Also the player has to play for that team for a minimum of 3 years.

I LIKE IT!

I don't know how some of you got scores so close together...

PLEASE NOTICE THIS IS THE SCORING WE ARE USING...

Starting QB = 20 Backup = 5
Starting RB = 10 Backup = 5
Starting WR = 15 3rd Receiver = 10
Starting TE = 10
Starting O-Line = 10 Each
OFFENSE TOTAL = 140

Starting D-Line = 10 Each
Starting LB's = 10 Each
Starting CB's = 15 Nickel = 10
Starting SS/FS = 15 Each
DEFENSE TOTAL = 140

Dude my top 3 are separated by 1 point with a tie for 1st. And there is another tie in addition to that one lol

Yup while mine are very close in spots there is a noticeable divide between the top 4 and the bottom 4

I had a little drop off after 5, but it's funny, the 8th place team would be a matchup nightmare for some of the teams ahead of it

That was hard as hell... Stayed up way too long for that and still don't like it... For instance, are we talking career stats or prime stats...? A rookie makes all pro is he a perfect score and a 7 year guy who was all pro rookie year but no more yet 3 probowls... Is he better or equal to the rookie who has no other info... Other things like that sort of messed me up and it was a lot of work... Oline and Dline was the hardest IMO... Some Dline don't have all the great stats but you know the Kiesel is a huge player for the Stellers and what they do... I'll leave it alone but it was a lot of work without a blue print which means it's up for interpretation... I will say you can see where people went hard and where people were trying to grab somebody to fill in...

Are we going to be able to set our team to matchups and say something about them or how will that work...?

For me, I just try and keep it simple. Example, Terrell Davis and Emmitt Smith. Both guys were great, but much different. TD was better, but only for about a 4 year run. Emmitt was really good for a decade. Adrian Peterson could be argued as better than Emmitt with a longer shelf life than TD , so I might go 15 for AD and 12-13 on the other two. Everyone sees it different, but what would be the point if we all saw it the same?

We do look at it different... That's absolute crazy talk... Emmitt lead the league in rushing 4 times, top 5 seven times top 10 ten times and is number 1 in attempts, yards, and TDs... Terrell Davis played 6 years lead the league 1 time... No way he's equal to Emmitt... Emmitt is a perfect score, I understand what AP is but in this draft Emmit is the best RB in the draft...

Let me clarify... You can argue Peterson Faulk and LT... They are all explosive and bring what they bring... I'd pick Faulk because of all his versatility, but Petersons strength and speed are crazy so I get that... But a guy who I can't remember ever missing back2back games with his usage is crazy... His oline while underrated, doesn't produce the leading rusher in NFL history... Emmitt was a beast and I don't even like him...

TD is just as overrated as Emmitt Smith. Olandis Gary was a 1,000 rusher with that line in Denver.

This was my point. There should have been a scale

Running backs could have been more than 10? Thought that was only QBs. Oh well I graded running backs with 10 the highest so it was the same for everyone anyways

3 teams down, 5 to go.

Not many 10's. I think matchups will be totally different, rankings wont mean much
