It was down to Wes Chandler and JJ for me. JJ was great for 3 years, Chandler was really good for twice as long. Coin flip on two fun to watch players

Chargers were definitely an offensive powerhouse back then. And the Pack definitely had a dead era before Favre. I do honestly remember him in Cleveland. Was a big fan of Kosar as a little guy. Not really sure why. I was 4, it didn't have to make sense.

If the Chargers had home field after beating the Dolphins in the greatest game I ever saw, They wouldn't have played in -59 temps and I think they beat the Bengals and then SF in the Super Bowl, and they would have been looked at in a different light

Kinda sucks to go from Dan Fouts throwing you the ball to Lynn Dickey... Plus Lofton was there getting all the attention.

I actually thought about drafting Chandler a long time back but just never pulled the trigger and after seeing all the receivers go I figured I could wait and get Johnny J.

Funny thing is they traded away Jefferson after the 80 season then traded for Chandler during the 81 season.
