You fix Howard with a bus ticket.I can live with one time. If a trend then there has to be issues. They are protecting BP guys like Howard who we just can’t let a roster spot go to waste for. He better get fixed

Well, the bullpen games have started up again. That is disappointing.
Yea but you short the pen.If Dunning gives them 5, then it's pretty much a regular game.

Unfortunately have to use all out it will be burnt end of year
Well, deGrom will miss at least 2 more starts, so this is the first of three.I can live with one time. If a trend then there has to be issues. They are protecting BP guys like Howard who we just can’t let a roster spot go to waste for. He better get fixed
Going 5 the first couple of times after spring training is fine. At this point most outings should be at least 6. At least.I know, but what I'm saying is that our starters generally go 5 and change anyway. you always want them to go at least 6, but so far that's a rare occurrence for us.
It still puts an extra load on an already weak pen even if he goes 5.If Dunning gives them 5, then it's pretty much a regular game.

Hope the opener is not LeClerc or Kennedy. From Jeff Wilson:
Dane Dunning is going to take the deGrom spot in the rotation and is expected to pitch a lot against the Angels, but the Rangers might turn to an opener for an inning or two to help make things easier on Dunning.
And that’s interesting. Obviously, the idea is to use a reliever who’s doing to get three outs, maybe more, without surrendering any runs. With a few relievers scuffling, the Rangers need all of late-innings relievers for later in the game.
Coincidentally, the Triple A team is on the West Coast and played a day game Thursday.
Seems like he was doing ok in AAA but maybe he wanted to be released
Maybe at some point he turns the corner.
I doubt it.
This guy is funny. Littell had a 2.92 ERA 2 years ago and he in his 20s. He is not some washed up guy in his mid-30s.
I have no clue. Kind of old school. I like to see the eye testThis guy is funny. Littell had a 2.92 ERA 2 years ago and he in his 20s. He is not some washed up guy in his mid-30s.
I think CY and Bochy are too enamored with the guys we have and refuse to go in a different direction. Meanwhile our AAA options are dwindling.I have no clue. Kind of old school. I like to see the eye test
