Granted, it took a near perfect throw by Betts to get him, but Flores is soooo damn slow, why try it there? The cost benefit just wasn’t there.

But nit just for the sake of throwing a PH. That situation did not call for a PH. Gas was semi-dealing. And pulling him in the hopes of starting something with 1-out and no one on is just low-return.
