I just read that "it was questionable that he would have made the post-season roster anyway."

Seriously?

No way is this true. He was the best starter since he came back. Likely would have started Game 2 if the Yanks made it past the Wildcard 1 game playoffs

I'd call CC a quitter, but that's not really accurate. Apparently he just isn't good enough of a quitter.

Gotta say. So far not a big fan of playoff contending Hu.

Like lovable loser following Hu much better.

Hey!

I'm still lovable...

Exactly. You have several years of abuse to make up for.

I didn't say they win 120 games. That seems excessive. I see Maddon getting them a wildcard. That would have taken 86-87 wins. Look at the roster for Texas and ask yourself how that roster is any better than Cleveland's? And it is certainly better than the roster of the Twins.

Yeah, measured by ERA, Cleveland had the 2nd best staff in the AL. Their runs scored ranked low, but OPS right in the middle.

They did get off to a 7-14 start, which doesn't help. They played .529 ball from there out, which would get them another 4 wins.

Who knows. Seems they could have done more, I guess.

He was going to be a starter for them(probably after Tanaka, Severino and Pineda). He's actually been decent since coming off the DL.

2.17 ERA in his last five starts.

Not make the roster my dick.

If the Dodgers were ever to win a World Series with their current roster, this would be the year.

Anyone not picking Royals-Blue Jays in ALCS?
