I have been a Sabathia fan for a long time, but I have to say, this is fucking bullshit. I would be so pissed off if I was a Yankee fan. Fuck that guy.
Right? He'll still be an alcoholic next week, so why the rush?

is that a terrible thing to say? I don't know where the line is on this one.

How many managers would cream themselves to have a rotation featuring Kluber, Salazar & Carrasco(Bauer and Tomlin seem OK too)?

Those guys were all pretty inconsistent. Their final lines look good, but each of them had fair amounts of time where they were shitting the bed start after start.

You're asking me where a line is?

Hi. I'm Slinkton B Redfoot. Have we met?

Agree 100%. He was on the DL for a while this season. Why didn't he just go to rehab then??? This is BS!

The AL Central was pretty weak this year. Tito owed you guys a better showing.

I said this in another thread, but addicts are forever saying things like "I'll work on this after XX happens!" It's often just a stall tactic, because once XX happens, they conveniently "forget" that they were going to get help,

If you're serious about help, drop EVERYTHING and go get help. He's only going to be a ballplayer for a short period of time; he's going to be a father forever.

It must be pretty bad. There may have been a private incident with his family that we don't know about that pushed everyone over the edge.

Either that, or he was REALLY not looking forward to working out of the bullpen.

Pfft...That ain't the way to protest! Harvey simply told his agent to go make a stink.

Add to that a future star in Lindor with Brantley and Santana and Kipnis.

Brantley and Kipnis are great. Lindor's a star, but only played a little more than half the season.

Santana? he ranked 14th out of 18 qualified first basemen in OPS. Nothing special.

Regardless, those four only accounted for about a third of the Indians' ABs. The other scrubs posted a combined slash line of .228/.289/.361/.650.

But sure, I suppose Maddon would have won 120 games with these guys.

Right before the playoffs start. He's just a complete dumb fuck.

He could have waited two days to see how the Yankees fare in the WC game. If they'd have lost...

Whatever. He's a fucking imbecile.

I just read that "it was questionable that he would have made the post-season roster anyway."

Seriously?

My guess is he did something to seriously jeopardize his home life and his old lady put her foot down.

Still, I'd feel some level of responsibility to the guys paying me a fuckton of money to shit on the pitching rubber. That's just me, though.

This.

He probably smacked her or one of the kids around in a drunken rage.

I didn't say they win 120 games. That seems excessive. I see Maddon getting them a wildcard. That would have taken 86-87 wins. Look at the roster for Texas and ask yourself how that roster is any better than Cleveland's? And it is certainly better than the roster of the Twins.

He was going to be a starter for them(probably after Tanaka, Severino and Pineda). He's actually been decent since coming off the DL.
