I'm with you on all of this. Gonna be hard to find a talented tough guy. As much as it makes me puke in my mouth what about lucic?
I never thought of Lucic. I love the idea of Lucic. Isn't he like 50 yrs old by now though?

Who else do you have in mind? Skinner probably resigns with the Sabres ( Skinner is my pick), Panarin is probably heading to the Panthers.
Duhense is a goal scorer and is a speedster.

Hey now I resemble that remark. He's def in his thirties so it wouldn't be a long contract.
I was just trying to be funny. I'm pretty bummed about being left out picking top 3. Go figure Rags and Devs. If the Pens were out, they probably get there as well. Fuck this

I would take 3 role players if they were the type that also averaged 20+ goals a year. That would go a long way especially if you can role at least 3 lines that can score.

I think we better contact Robert Mueller asap!
Serously. This guy has some of the biggest luck on draft days. Let's see Sid, Malkin, MAF, and other pieces and three years into NJ he has Hichier and now Hughes.

Devils win? Rangers #2? And for good measure the Hawks jump the Flyers?

That really couldn’t have gone worse.

Also listens to Myrtetus’ podcast and Fletcher doubled down on starting the coaching search this week. I shrugged it off as GM-speak the first time, but surely he wouldn’t have doubled down after the fan reaction if he wasn’t serious?

What the hell was he doing for the past 3 months?

I didn’t like it when they hired him, and he’s done nothing but affirm my opinion so far. He better prove me wrong. This team has too many good pieces to turn over the keys to a buffoon.

First real mock for me of the season, Flyers take Cole Caufield. I think las will love this one. 5’7 162lb.

He did score 54 goals in 59 games with the USNTDP this year though. And 138 points. Albeit, with Jack Hughes setting him up.

Seriously. Quenneville signs with FLA and the very next day we get completely fucked by the draft lottery in every way possible. This shit just about makes you want to hurl all over the fucking place. How did the Devils go from 97 points to 72 the very next season anyway? Just via not having Hall for half the season? It sort of reeks of another Shitsburgh-esque tank job.

Oh well, at least we have 3 extra picks in this draft, including NJ's 3rd. They have 4 extra picks that are better however, plus #1 overall...Lol It hardly seems fair at this point.

We're going to have an absolute ton of cap space in the offseason, so we better make some big moves. None of our RFA's are going to break the bank either.
