I was checking out the standings and it looks like we could possibly be picking in the single digits depending on if Vancouver, Hawks, etc can win a game or two and we lose our final game. I'm that case, I wonder how much it would cost to move up to top five?

I can't believe that the Avs are the luckiest team moving foward. They will probably land Hughes, thanks to the Sens sucking. They will have two solidifies round picks and they are already competitive to compete. I'm jealous.

Yup. I'm pissed. Fletcher should be on this asap. Is Florida in that much better place than us? I would think the Flyers would be more ideal for Joel Q. I guess we shall see how this goes.

I've read that the Panthers and Joel Q deal is pretty much a done deal and it will be finalized tomorrow. Who would be your next choice? I don't like how the season ended and now I have mixed feelings of Gordon would be a good fit. Regardless, I feel Fletcher needs to be a bit more aggressive in the coaching search. The Panthers came out of nowhere and have the guy some of us really wanted to get. Now other teams will be searching making it more competitive getting the guy we want.

Guy Boucher is the only other coach who interests me. He has a track record of being able to come in and make an immediate positive impact.

I'm thinking either Boucher or Vigneault. Then part of me wants a defensive minded coach ( Boucher). We should post a poll with a few names and see what the rest of the crew thinks?
