Remember when we went on that tear last season in the second half, snuck into the playoffs and everyone was in love with Haks.

Who on earth on this board ever loved Haks? I'll kick back and watch..

Nope. I don't remember everyone being in love with Hak at any point beyond the first season of his tenure.

When we had the best record in the league in the second half last season every single game our announcers and national announcers and other teams announcers were swinging on Haks nutz.

I wonder if Simmonds still gets dealt being this close to a playoff spot. We are six points out now that the Pens lost today.

I really like the fact that he dropped the gloves with Mantha to settle the score for the Gee hit. If Simmonds goes there isn't anyone to stand up for guys like Gee and TK from the bigger guys.

He will be dealt and hopefully we can swing a trade for a solid vet Dman. If we get picks for him that would be cool but I'd rather have an instant impact if possible.

Solid d-man or picks is more likely than an instant impact because the team he will likely go to is a playoff team and they arent trading anyone who makes an impact before their playoff run.

They are both coming on strong, but were no existent in the beginning.

Simmer to the Bruins is what I'm seeing? With the injury to Pastrnak, Simmer would be a possible trade destination for the Bruins.
