In the 10,000 Posts for a Flyers Stanley Cup in 2019 thread we get probably double the amount of posts following a loss than following a win

I have to say, I loved the support the fans gave the team last night. Especially Hart. He was getting partial standing ovations for covering the puck. Heard a few 'lets go flyers' chants over the broadcast. It was nice to see.

Agree 100%, the fans got behind the team and it was almost like a playoff atmosphere.

I didn't get to watch this game, but what was your overall impression of Hart? Did it seem like the team kind of rally behind him, more defensive support, did he appear to have that IT factor between the pipes? Nice way to start the NHL career.

It was like the anchors were lifted from their skates and everyone skated for 2 periods. The third was a little bit of a let down but a win is a win and we need lots of em. Hart looks solid, he has very good positioning and stays tight.

We played a very solid game last night, the Defense made life easy for Hart. Hope it was a confidence booster for we have a couple good games upcoming. Not taking anything away from anybody but these will be better measuring sticks of where this team os still mentally.

This is true, winning a home game vs Detroit was just meh. Getting a big win against good team will make me fell warm and fuzzy. At least they were skating.

I'm sure Carter Hart would rather not have that in common with those guys. That 3rd period goal looked a little soft. On the previous goal against, it was a rocket from someone wide open in the slot, and he had zero chance.

In all fairness, Fleury was probably instructed to lose. Afterall, the Pens still needed to tank 3 more seasons to get Malkin, Crosby and Staal.
