You will be able to add a 3rd time in a few weeks. :suds:

Next game is at home, not at t-mobile arena.

But we'll still kick them to the curb.

Great game from almost everyone. Although, I admit I went to bed after the 2nd...Lots of positives have already been pointed out. A few negatives:

1) The PP was generally weak, scoring one goal but giving up a shorty. Not much pressure overall.
2) AMac. Ugh.
3) Vorobyev 1 for 7 from the dot. With neither JVR nor Simmonds being much help on draws, is this line sustainable?

Honeymoon in Vegas is over! Great game Elliott fantastic. Loved the balance of the lines 4th line putting in some solid minutes. Simmer looked great I called him he just didn't score first...
I called Simmer also. Too bad we didn't get it right but im sure happy Lidblom netted his goal.

Our PK was pretty good. Better than expected. That is for the first game, hopefully it continues play well.

I just read that when every goalie is healthy that we will be carrying three goalies as Pikard has to be on the roster for the first 10 games or the first 30 days of the season. If this happens Stolarz may be placed on waivers. Hexy says well cross that bridge when we get to it.

Does Stolarz make it past waivers??? I think not.

I like Stolarz but if all things are equal they need to go with whomever is the healthiest. If anything try to make a trade for a pick...

I would love to make a trade and suggested that on here but i was told that none of our goalies besides hart is worth much to anyone else. Im always in favor of trading a player for something and never want to lose a player for nothing.

Yeah would be tough but you try. Leafs need a backup badly may get something from them...

Depends when he gets put on waivers I think. Right now, pretty much everyone is healthy and every team has an established 1/2 at the NHL level. If they claimed Stolarz, they'd be in the same boat the Flyers are in with Elliot/Pickard/Stolarz. They have to keep him up for 10 games or 30 days, so they'd have 3 NHL goalies too. Which teams, for the most part, try to avoid. So if he gets waived before any starters/backups across the league get hurt, I think he passes through no problem. If someone gets hurt before he gets waived, then he might not pass through unclaimed.

I would say that with one caveat, I would think there are teams out there with backup goalies that are waiver exempt. In those cases, they could claim Stolarz to be their backup and send down the waiver exempt guy. But, I would guess that if there is a waiver exempt goalie on an NHL roster right now it's because he's seen as the future starter and earned being at least the backup. Otherwise they would have sent him down for more playing time, the way the Flyers did with Hart.

I guess one other option would be if a team thought Stolarz would make a better backup than their current backup. I would find it pretty surprising if a team thought Stolarz, coming off 2 knee surgeries, and having played all of 7 NHL games, was a better option than their current backup.

Just wait for Nervy to come back, I'm sure he'll go back out with a hang nail or some shit.

Yes, I was just going to say it. Folin is like MacDonald Jr. right now. We're going to give up at least 2-3 goals every game with these guys on the ice.

I hope and pray that it is just rust, Gudas returns or they call up Myers.
