I read that DeRozan has played 12 playoff games against the Cavs

in those twelve playoff games he has made 0 three's.

NO joke, I haven't been on this site often much, but on RealGM and a few other forums i've visited, along with facebook and shit, pretty much was consensus cRaps were going to blow Cleveland out. So my bad if it hasn't been that way here, but I'm not about to go back and read 57 pages lol

Yeah, I was just sitting there shaking my head and laughing at how ridiculous some of those shots were. When he hit that high arcing fade away that started about 15 feet from the basket, was released about 18 feet from the basket and took a half hour before it dropped in, pretty much ended the game.

Seemed like each one was as the shot clock buzzer went off as well FML

I think they will come out desperate in Game 3 with some major fire.

These guys are competitors. No one likes being told they quit and are mentally weak. In previous years it was different since they were underdogs.

At some point I think pride takes over and they will fight hard.

The Cavs cant let up.

That's because the Raptors kept letting him dominate the ball. It kept the game at the Cavs pace and limited the Raptors opportunities on offense. Plus, there isn't a whole lot more deflating than defending a team for 20+ seconds and having them score anyway.

The best defense I ever saw anyone play against Magic was the Bulls when they won their first title. They defended Magic with MJ or Pippen (mostly Pippen) for like 3/4 of the court which slowed the offense, forced the ball out of his hands and wore him down.

Not sure why the Raptors haven't tried that on Lebron.

Doesn't really matter, that's still an insane state, and also not true that he didn't start shatting 3s till this year

he averaged 2.7 attempts in 14, 1.5 the 2 years before that, then 1.5, 1.8, 1.7. He stepped it up this year with 3.6, and is much better at it now than in years before, but it's always been a part of his game.

As a payback for what the Canadian customs officials did to the Cavs for game 3 in '16 the Raptors should be detained on their own plane for a couple of hours once they arrive in Cleveland. Still can't believe that silly shit actually happened.

Did they ever stop trying to single cover him? At some point you have to send an early, hard double team and start forcing the ball out of his hands.

When you just let him hang onto the ball for 15-20 seconds on every possession, he's going to pick you apart.

I'm ok with single covering him but you can't allow other guys to go off in that case.

I don't expect them to quit and of course there's the chance that the Cavs will get fat and happy from the 2 wins in Toronto.

But if they don't adjust their strategy, I'll be surprised if they win another game.
