Which #1 seed will lose first and when will it be?

Virginia is down a man in Hunter and may face Kentucky or Arizona in a sweet sixteen match up-

Kansas is down a man right now, their biggest man, 7 footer Udoka Azubuike, but they didn't need him to win the Big-12 Tournament- and Self says he could be used in an emergency-

Villanova may have to go up against VaTech who has knocked off Virginia, UNC, Clemson, and Duke this season-

Xavier is getting no Love after losing twice to Nova in blowouts, but has a ton of talent in Seniors Trevon Bluiett and JP Macura-

Of those four I'd say Kansas because they are so thin at center

I would say Xavier based on talent of the team alone. However, I think Virginia has the toughest matchup the fastest. Villanova doesn't have too difficult of a game until the Final Four, Kansas not until Elite Eight against Duke/Michigan State. Virginia and Xavier both should have a difficult Sweet 16 matchup, but I think Arizona/UK is harder than Gonzaga/OSU. And now they lose a key player too? So it could actually be Virginia.

X was an elite 8 team last year and has basically that same squad plus a few key players

Nova owns them head to head tho.

I want to say Xavier, but they have made the sweet 16 in 4 out of the 7 appearances in the tourney under Mack. The guy is a he'll of a coach.

I agree that Seton Hall is probably the best 8/9 seed and will pose problems for KU, especially without Azibuke, but the game is in Wichita...

If Willard doesn’t coach SHu could be a big issue anencephaly NcState could be tough too

VT and Bama are good but they play a type of game that Nova wants so unless VT blacks out I just don’t like their chances at all

The don't win that many, but damn if they don't give everybody a tough game.
Probably because they actually have disciplined offenses that they execute the
proper way.

I don't think Kansas wants to overlook Penn, especially with their big man out,.
