Because 19 points in just under 5 minutes is not insurmountable.

And trust me, when a coach pulls his guys before they are ready to concede the game, it can have lasting effects.

Players feel like the coach gave up on them and trust can be irreparably broken if you pull them too soon.

It is a balancing act of when to go to the bench.

Dallas was 1 run away from getting back in the game. It just went the other direction instead.
