You called it not me. WTF?
So tell me why? Is it because they used Lincolns instead of Austin martins?
That's Aston Martin, not Austin.

Well fuck me........you win!
My friend and I went through every movie and came up with Live And Let Die as the worst Bond ever.
Golden Gun was different from other Bond flicks, but in a good way. And how can you not love Herve Villachaize?Well I certainly don't agree with that. Honestly the only Roger Moore Bond film that might be better than Live and Let Die is The Spy Who Loved Me.
Moonraker was completely absurd. View To a Kill was bad. For Your Eyes Only was bad. Man With the Golden Gun was ok.Octopussy was ok.
Oh no, no, no. I loved that movie. Not a big fan of Roger but loved it. Lot's of elements of cool in that movie. Mr. Big might have to pop a cap in your ass.
I wasn't trying to win, but thank you.
I asked you if you knew why LALD was the worst Bond movie of all time and it's a very long story. Suffice it to say it's tied in with what is the consensus pick for worst Bond...A View to a Kill.
My friend and I figured out that AVTAK isn't the worst Bond ever for a number of reasons. Those reasons are as follows:
Prime Christopher Walken as the villain
Crazy Grace Jones
A blink and you'll miss him cameo from Dolph Lundgren
John Steed his-damn-self, Patrick Macnee
Whereas with LALD, you've got:
Prime Jane Seymour and the 7-up guy and he's hardly in the movie at all.

Really though, I was never big on the Bond movies. Thought the Brosnan movies were cool as a kid. I thought the Craig ones were solid as an adult - but nothing impressive.
I would also say...
Hunt > Bond
Great. I dont agree. Bunch of intrigue and twist and turns (yes predictable). Multiple places the movie was shot in and so forth. It was a fun movie. Watched it many times.
View to kill was fucking stupid. Horrible writing. I hated that movie and roger just didnt look bond like. I had to work hard to watch it. Only saw it once.
I have to agree. The last three MI movies are better than any Bond film I've seen.
Well, I gave you four reasons why it wasn't. I can't explain it any simpler than that.
Good for you. Say, why are you in here being a Buzz Killington, instead of starting your own MI thread and citing chapter and verse why it's better than a Bond film?
The same question goes to the Buzz Killington you were responding to.
Bourne > Bond
and its not even close.
