Which team will trade up for Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa and Oregon's Justin Herbert? Will the New England Patriots find their Tom Brady replacement?

Let's not waste any more of your precious time. The Cincinnati Bengals are on the clock...

SLIDE1 of 32
1. CINCINNATI BENGALS: JOE BURROW, QB

Although the Bengals might be tempted to select Chase Young, Cincinnati decides to draft the Heisman Trophy winner out of LSU to replace Andy Dalton under center. He won't wow you with his arm strength, sure, but Burrow has the accuracy to be a star in the league.

SLIDE2 of 32
2. WASHINGTON REDSKINS: CHASE YOUNG, EDGE

The Redskins have the easiest decision in the entire draft. With Burrow off the board, Washington picks up arguably the best player in the draft in the Ohio State pass rusher. He could form a devastating duo with last year's first-rounder Montez Sweat.

SLIDE3 of 32
3. MIAMI DOLPHINS (VIA DETROIT LIONS): TUA TAGOVAILOA, QB

Here's where the draft really starts. The Dolphins decide to trade up with the Detroit Lions for the Alabama signal caller. Despite a lack of arm strength, Tagovailoa is a master at using his pinpoint accuracy to slice up opposing defenses.

SLIDE4 of 32
4. LOS ANGELES CHARGERS (VIA NEW YORK GIANTS): JUSTIN HERBERT, QB

The Chargers missed their opportunity to trade up for Tagovailoa, so they make a deal for the next best option: Justin Herbert. With the franchise reportedly moving on from Philip Rivers, Los Angeles adds an athletic passer with a ton of upside.

SLIDE5 of 32
5. DETROIT LIONS (VIA LOS ANGELES CHARGERS): JEFF OKUDAH, DB

The draft is playing out perfectly for the Detroit Lions so far. After trading back with the Dolphins — and picking up some valuable draft assets — the Lions are still able to select the guy they would've originally drafted at No. 3. Okudah is easily the best cornerback prospect in the draft — and Detroit desperately needs help in the secondary.

SLIDE6 of 32
6. NEW YORK GIANTS (VIA LOS ANGELES CHARGERS): JEDRICK WILLS, OL

Giants general manager Dave Gettleman loves drafting "hog mollies" on the offensive and defensive line. Wills can start at left or right tackle for a young and improving New York offense.

SLIDE7 of 32
7. CAROLINA PANTHERS: ISAIAH SIMMONS, LB/DB

(Photo: Tom Pennington, Getty)
Following the sudden retirement of Luke Kuechly, the Panthers look to the draft to find his potential replacement. Simmons is built like a linebacker with the speed and cover skills of a safety. He's the perfect defensive prospect for the modern NFL.

SLIDE8 of 32
8. CLEVELAND BROWNS (VIA ARIZONA CARDINALS): TRISTAN WIRFS, OL

With Wills off the board to the Giants, the Browns make a deal with the Arizona Cardinals for the No. 8 pick. The Browns then fill their biggest hole on the roster with the athletic offensive lineman out of Iowa. Wirfs should help protect Baker Mayfield for the next decade.

SLIDE9 of 32
9. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS: DERRICK BROWN, DL
9547498.jpg

(Photo: John David Mercer, USA TODAY Sports)
The Jaguars' defense is no longer the dominant force it used to be, but adding a defensive lineman with Pro Bowl potential should help Jacksonville get back on track.

SLIDE10 of 32
10. ARIZONA CARDINALS (VIA CLEVELAND BROWNS): CEEDEE LAMB, WR

After trading back with the Browns, the Cardinals find Kyler Murray a top-flight receiver in his former college teammate. Lamb could make an immediate impact in Arizona's high-octane offense.

I'm generally under the assumption that Tua is going #2 in some sort of trade or he is going to fall like a rock. He could go #3 but only if the Redskins dont get any good trade deals and I suspect that teams will trade the farm for him. We've been talking about Tua as a top QB prospect for at least a year or two. Its a minor complaint because Chase Young will be the top non-QB off the board.

As far as the Chiefs are concerned, I'd always mock them trading their pick so I have no issue with that. I think its more likely they trade out of the first round imo.

This is pretty well done, and the top 5 i can very much see playing out.

2020 NFL Mock Draft (With Trades)

It is pretty good. I could see thr top 5 playing out like that.

ATL...Epenesa will probably be the highest rated DE on the board so it's a sound pick. But, he's not a lock to be an impact player. If it were me, I would stay at 16 and go for the DT Kinlaw to pair with Grady Jarrett and use 47 on a G, and somebody like Weaver (Boise St) or another edge with the Pats pick at 55.

Not sure what Seattle would get in trading back but at least the mock still has them taking an edge rusher.

This all starts to heat up here in a few days. If Tua is showing the kind of progress that MIA's doctors hope to see at the combine...and they like the makeup of the kid...it's pretty much a lock they take him.

The question becomes where...WAS has paid the king's ransom for the QB in the draft so they should be expecting to reap on this time around...so...it's safe to say, WAS is not going to give up Chase Young unless they can bring in a big haul...to me that means 5-18-39 at the very least. If it were me running WAS, I would make that trade.

In terms of top 100 draft collateral...MIA has far more 5, 18, 26, 39, 56. LAC has 6, 37, 71...CAR has 7,38,69

Knowing that MIA can blow any 2020 draft pick deal they put together out of the water. Will the Chargers or Carolina mortgage future drafts for Tua...if you don't think they will...MIA could hold serve at 5 and get Tua.

Fwiw. Washington's board , seems to think they can get 2 Firsts, 2 seconds, and derwin James for their pick.

Yeah last week I was chatting with a few 'skins fan on their board.

For a 'Skins fan...What would concern me taking Young is they really don't need another edge, sure they could use one...but they do need a starting LT, a WR, and somebody to stop the run, either a DT or LB. If they move the pick, there's a pretty good chance they can hit all three positions with a young starting caliber player from this draft.

But...on the chance that Young becomes a TJ Watt or Joey Bosa for WAS...I can see some would want to make the pick at 2.

that team needs so much, id be open to a trade, or trade one of the edge guys they have, but u can never have enough depth, but to think your gonna get 4 top picks plus a great young safety is a bit naive. IMHO

I think they have to be open. As good as Young could be, he not a LT, DT, or WR.

Right now, the only team with the draft firepower to excite WAS is MIA (5, 18, 26, 39, 54 in the top 100 in this draft) no one else can really touch that.

If I was running the show in WAS...Give me 5, 18, and 39, and you can have #2.

I can't see the Pats taking a QB with their first pick Stidham looked decent and I think with a year under his belt will look better. I also think the Pats trade out of round one they have a knack for finding talent late, unless there is an absolute potential stud expect them to trade out.

IMO the greater needs are TE, DE, S and WR QB as late as round 4 to 6.

I think Shenault or Jefferson make more sense for the Bills than Higgins (given the type of routes the Bills typically use), unless of course Ruggs is somehow available. I wouldn't rule out someone like Chaisson either.

Higgins is a decent shot for them. There's not really anyone better in this class at high pointing the ball. Go up n get it. They take shots, and Allen isn't the mist accurate. He could be a good
Fit.

Sure, but he throws more dig routes and underneath stuff, which Shenault and Jefferson have more experience with. High pointing kinda implies some downfield accuracy, not exactly Allen's forte. He's better drilling it to a stationary target, which would require someone dangerous after the catch. Any of the top guys will help the Bills, I'm just curious to see who their target is. Maybe they wait and go WR second round and bring a bunch of different names into the discussion.
