I didn’t say they are fine. We have no LBers and need a star CB. I said they haven’t regressed since last year.

You sure did skipped the part about complaining about the defense when wentz lost last year. Did I get that wrong too? Do you really think people don’t remember your BS from last year.

That’s why you are a liar

NFL team with cap problem gives tryout to teacher's kid to stay under cap:

Philadelphia is the town of blue-collar workers and the rags to riches story or Rocky Balboa, or even a Vince Papale.

During the 1976 season, a 30-year-old with no NFL experience, coming over from the Philadelphia Bell of the World Football League earned a spot on Dick Vermeil’s Eagles roster. That story turned into a Hollywood movie centered around Vince Papale.
Now decades later, Papale’s son is preparing for his own tryout with the Eagles.

Vinny Papale played wide receiver at the University of Delaware, and after a solid Senior season, Papale will get his shot at greatness, as the Eagles have invited him to their local Pro Day on April 17, according to our own Andrew DiCecco.

Insiders report that the Eagles will charge Papale 1M after they cut him.

Healthy cap spot??? This must be one of the people calling Howie a cap genius. It should say Philly kicks almost $6M of cap space down the road. I just pointed out they could do this twice in the last couple of days and how it would be dumb but could get them to $35M under if they did Ertz and Jeffery both. Yet some will say this is genius...

The CBA expires in 2021 and it will likely be an uncapped year. Dead money will disappear if that happens. What Howie is doing may be risky, but it isn't dumb.

If Jerry does this exact move it is called out as "screwing the future". :L

I dare anyone to treat an uncapped year as uncapped.
Actually, as long as you aren't in the NFCE you probably will be fine.

Really? Ask Dallas and even more so Washington what happened the last time there was an "uncapped year"...

Had they been a little less obvious about it they may have got away with it like the Raiders did.

And pre-existing contracts probably get treated a little different than a bunch of front loaded contracts that are clearly taking advantage of the uncapped season.
