People drink beers less than 10%?Coors light. Been drinking since the beginning of the Rams game and I know I could pass the count sobriety tests. Pretty stupid paying 13.00 dollars for almost zero buzz.
Oh, no.... I'm not saying previous releases were better. I do not have the palate to be able to distinguish year over year releases that well, haha.Hopslam isn't the first beer I've had that people have said previous renditions were better about, I've heard that about the Alpine beers as well (specifically Hoppy Birthday and Duet). I never got to try those beers before Green Flash bought them, but I thought they were still very good. I thought Hopslam was a fantastic west coast style IPA that really hides the 10% alcohol. The more I read posts like yours, the more I wish I tried previous releases.
Sixpoint Dabble is pretty nice. A lot of tropical fruit going on.
I've been doing the same thing. Got it knocked down to about 145 beers, but I'm back up at 160, and I know I'm buying a handful this Saturday.Been drinking my aged dark beers the last few weeks, Lagunitas Willetized Coffee Stout, also High West-ified Imperial Coffee Stout and the usual suspects, Founders Breakfast, Left Hand Hard Wired and Wake Up Dead.....Maine Beer Co must have upped their production, finding Lunch and Another One in abundance.....I have a 2014 Fuller's Vintage Ale on death row for this weekend....
This brewery is not far from my house. They make some pretty good stuff, but primarily they're into IPA's. Glad to see them getting some wider distribution
Other Half brewery is worth a trip, they have some tremendous beers.....Cracking a Jai Alai now.....haven't been there yet. Only NYC brewery I've been to so far is Fifth Hammer in LIC (been there twice). They're pretty great
