Yea we can never judge Dak on Dak, it is everyone else's fault. I think three years is not to early. Sure all of it is not his fault, but he can be judged now.
Pretty impressive 3 years, no?

Dak is fortunate to have a solid OL plus Zeke and Cooper.
Here's the deal...If you put Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Tom Brady or Russell Wilson on the Cowboys, would they be the favorites to win the Super Bowl? I think absolutely. The problem is, those guys don't grow on trees. Dak may not be the best QB in the league, but there are a whole lot worse out there. Biggest issue with Dak is going to be the money. He is worth $18-20 million, he is not worth $28-30, plain and simple

yep...to bad the center missed all season, the starting right guard out for weeks, Smith limited as usual and Martin playing through injuries. Collins has been there all year. AND YES!!!! Dallas was smart to trade for Cooper. Route runners are better overall receivers than 50/50 guys. HUGE UPGRADE!!!!

I agree. He is no where near the worst in the league. We can win with Dak. If he tightens up a few things, #1 dont fumble, this team can go far IMO

I'm a 3 year person, and in those 3 years Dak has shown promise and he has shown enough to be questioned.
If he tilts either way just a little, he can be a franchise QB or a complete waste of a roster spot.
Totaly agree. We all want to rest easy having a franchise QB. I sure as hell dont want to start over looking for one. I hope like hell Dak is the one, but I have deep concerns.

Concerns are valid.

Here's the rub though. Sign him a year early he's cheaper, but then were stuck with him if he falters.

Damned if you do, damned if you dont.

Have you seen this offense today again? Same ole Dak. Great running game, solid WR and tight end play, but man can’t make the big throws or takes the bad sacks. Looking like we could get shut out by Colts.

I am not sure you sign Dak long term next year unless it is a HUGE discount. Who is going to pay him BIG money in free agency? Man has had top Line, top back and arguably top wide receiver and has no playoff wins. Also, his misses on easy throws and has poor pocket presence that puts the offense in a bad spot. He struggles big time on the road and we have a strong running game.

No sense blaming Dak, he's just Dak. He's a limited guy, it is what it is. We can win games with him playing a certain way, getting the lead, pounding it with our GREAT running back, winning time of possession, and allowing our fast defense to pin their ears back. That's our formula. As soon as this team gets 10 points down and decides to scrap the run game, we have no shot, zero. If you want to call that Dak bashing, go ahead, I just call it the truth

First shutout since 2003. Let that marinate. Not since the Campo Era. Thank you Howdy Doody and Dak. 24-39 for just over 200 yards a pick and no TDS and below a 65 rating. He had a GREAT 4th quarter last week but honestly if he plays better earlier there is no need for heroics. The coaches actually called a good game. We did not execute.

Last shutout was with Parcelss against Patriots in Foxboro. My apologies to Campo. Parcelss with his Quincy Carter led offense had two shutouts that year. Defense was good that year also.

Exactly, no way I sign him to a long term deal. They do and they will be just like the Jaguars with Bortles.

And Thank them for 5 out of 6 wins and a likely division title. Maybe let that marinate a little :noidea:

And the pick hit the ground and moved< Not that it mattered but it should have been reversed

I think Dak said it best- Complimentary Football. Today we really didn’t have anything.

You think Dak was the reason we beat the Saints 13-10 or was it in spite of him? Seriously? Or 22-19 versus the Falcons? The last Eagles game is not close with consistent QB play. Perhaps, in the first Eagles game and second Washington game he played well enough to get us to win but I dare say we won because of him in those games. This team is winning because of the defense and Elliot and Cooper. Let’s see what happens. We have only scored more points than the Skins and Cardinals in the NFC. You still think he is the reason we are winning games? Or perhaps in spite of him.

The defense was the key to those 5 out of 6.

Garret is an offensive coach. LOL. You really want to give him credit for this 8-6 team? Thank Sherman and Marenelli and Elliot and Cooper.

Sorry, but that's BS. Football is a team sport. Who do you =guys think is throwing to Cooper and Zeke? It's funny that when Dak hits Cooper for a big gain it somehow proves to some people that Dak stinks. It's mind boggling.

5 game win streak
Win 1 - 14 points and 2 4th TDs including the game winner with 4 minutes left; defense gave up 17 2nd half points

Win 2 - 16 4th Qtr points. Led team to game winning FG with time running out

Win 3 - 31 points. passer rating 121.6

Win 4 - Didn't play great but no one on Offense did. But still had 115 passer rating

Win 5 - 20 points in 4th Qtr and OT. 455 yards. Led team on 8 minute game winning OT drive. One of the best Offensive performances statistically the Cowboys Offense has really ever had.
