I hear ya. No one wants their team playing poorly going into the playoffs. Up until the last 2 games. from the talk radio in NYC you'd think the Yanks are about to lose 100 games rather than have a shot at winning 100.

Seemed like they did that every year in the dynasty years. Even '98 they took their foot off the gas and lost 7 out of 11 in the middle of September. Then when the lights came on they "flipped the switch".
