Not me, Tanaka is a money pitcher that loves the moment
Severino is the opposite
Tanaka has been better in September but he's struggled in August. I would be mad is Tanaka gets the start but Happ is my #1 choice.

It is so damn tough between those 2.
Tanaka with a 0.43 ERA in 3 starts this month.
Happ at 0.50 ERA in 3 starts this month.
I still think a dominant Tanaka start tonight and he is a lock to pitch in the WC game
I'd agree with that. if Tanaka looks amazing tonight, no way he doesn't get the WC game start. I think the idea of Happ getting the WC start is just a pipe dream to be honest. Think it's down to Tanaka and Severino.
Severino shouldn't be in the discussion. If Happ isn't in the discussion then this organization isn't about winning.
His ERA is 2.39 in 9 starts since coming to the Bronx
Speaking of the Red Sox, are you dare starting Happ/Sevy next weekend in Boston assuming Tanaka gets the ball in the WC game? Not sure how I'll feel about Boston seeing those guys 2x in about a 10 day span prior to a possible ALDS matchup vs Boston
Allll about the importance of the games, if we are locked into homefield, I'll let Greg Bird pitch
Maybe he's good at that. Gotta be something he's good at.
I have to imagine left off the postseason roster and tossed in a trade as a throw in this winter
agreed, I really miss that site.So ESPN bought one of my favorite sites a year or so ago: hittrackeronline. Instead of continuing it they basically scrapped it and substituted their own shitty version. In any event, does anyone know whether any of the homers the Yankees hit yesterday would be homers in any other parks in the league?

I'd probably guess not
But JD broke my heart with a homer in that exact spot this season when it was still a race
So fuck Boston

Wonder if Gardner's gonna make it? Probably over Bird, but I think the writing is on the wall that these are his last handful of games in pinstripes.
He'll look good in Royal Blue.
