Well, that was fun (and needed as Oakland stomped the Angels)

The legend of Luke Voit grows..............

Don't know if last nights good or bad

This organization is dying to give the ball to Severino in the WC game, and I completely dread the thought

I'm okay with Severino getting the WC start. I'm more confident in him than I am in Sonny Gray, Tanaka or Sabathia. Only guy I'd want to give the ball to more is Happ.

27 year old prospect traded for nothing has a miraculous homer barrage not seen in the majors since the likes of Gary Sanchez or Aaron judge. Hmmmmmm.

I doubt it. Only way he possibly gets the ball is if Tanaka looks like shit tonight and he throws amazing vs Tampa next week.

And even then Happ should be above him as well.

Not me, Tanaka is a money pitcher that loves the moment

Severino is the opposite

I agree, just don't think they will

Just get this sense they are searching for a reason to go with Seve

Boone should be fired if he dare starts Severino. Happ should clearly be next in line and if not for Tanaka dominant playoffs last year, you can make a strong case for Happ getting the ball in the WC game.

Was listening to a scouts take on Tanaka and how he thinks because of the elbow, he never really lets it all go during the season, holding back a bit, and ups his game in October because he really lets it all go with no concerns

That will be Cashmans call, no way Boone makes that decision

The argument against Happ is that you would like to line him up twice vs the Red Sox

Remember when Gary Sanchez could hit like Luke Voit? Those were the days.

Speaking of the Red Sox, are you dare starting Happ/Sevy next weekend in Boston assuming Tanaka gets the ball in the WC game? Not sure how I'll feel about Boston seeing those guys 2x in about a 10 day span prior to a possible ALDS matchup vs Boston
