Only way belichick trades him is if he is retiring with Brady. Jimmy has all the signs and showings of a total natural unphased QB with good field vision, accuracy and pocket presence. He reminds me of Brady when he came on in 2000 and 2001.

We've had plenty of other decent backups come threw New England during Brady's reign but non that showed his promise. Barring injury he is a top 10 QB easily with potential to be top 5 and there is no amount of firsts worth trading that away for.

it's shown they made real progress and let their top wr go
Signed a more accomplished WR who is the same age for less money than what Pryor will be wanting after this season. That was a damn smart move by the FO. They didn't cave to Rosenhaus and I love it.

As for Jimmy G, he will not be fetching two 1sts and then some from anyone. The Browns are pretty enamored with Trubisky, and for good reason. He looks like the real deal, even drawing an Aaron Rodgers comparison from an NFL personnel executive this week. They'll likely be able to get him at 12 or somewhere close to it, and it would cost them less to make a small move up the boards than sell the farm for a guy with minimal experience that's also 3 years older.

My guess is the Browns will have to trade up to get him a bit. They have the fire power to do that though without it costing an arm and a leg like some are suggesting it will cost for Jimmy G. To me getting Garrett and Mitchel in the 1st would be a good haul for the Browns. Gives them cost controlled ability at the 2 most expensive positions on the field with 2 guys with huge upside.

I'm wondering if they'll have to jump a team that would trade up then. San Fran and Chicago are not taking a QB in the first, and the Jets have a 2nd and 3rd rounder as well as recently signed Josh McCown on their roster, so I'm not sure they'd go after him at 6. They're the only realistic shot of anyone taking him, so I've got my fingers crossed.

Why are the 49ers and Bears not looking at QB? Both have a huge need.

The 49ers have come out and said they're not looking to spend a first rounder on a QB, and the Bears just shelled out $12mil or something a year for Mike Glennon because they're idiots.

Well i wouldn't exactly believe anything the 49ers say about the QB position right now. The Bears good point. I keep forgetting that terrible signing of Glennon. I do think the Bills though could be looking at a QB. They don't seem all that committed to their guy beyond this next season. And AZ is one I could see jumping the Browns to get their QB of the future. Maybe they luck out. So much will change between now and April 27th.

Not for two firsts they dont

No one said they were that bright either... I mean O'Brien wants him so I would not put it past Houston to do it. But my money on a team being really stupid to give up a 1st would be the Browns

u signed britt? the classic career long under achiever... wooo

Pryor turned down a good offer from the Browns because he thought he would land a mega contract in the FA market, so the Browns didn't wait to see if he was right or wrong and went a got a decent experienced WR. IDK seems like a good move to me.
