dean you just wont ever admit you hate TM because of that stupid draft when we picked him over your man crush moses , who by the way was drafted by us as well

we all know what you posted , we all know what we posted , so far you are wrong and now you are sounding petty by minimizing what he is doing

RK has turned into RAK this season and JG will tear an Achilles eating a ham sandwich and is opening a new line of scooters for the mobility impaired

I realize in what he is doing. But why am I wrong for calling him a backup ST player? Just b/c he leads the team in sacks doesn't make him an elite pass rusher. I would never route against a Skins player. You guys are taking my statement that I made when he was DE out of context. He gets double digit sacks and becomes a force then I will reconsider. But to say he is more important than Norman on our defense like Breed did is just crazy.

your statement about him at DE was wrong , he is the 2nd best lineman on the team and is doing his damage as a de

according to the depth chart when I made the statement he wasn't the 2nd best de. Some people on here are focusing more on Murphy's 1 sack then Normans shut down of Pryor in the 2nd half and the game winning pick. that is crazy

Norman is our best defensive player hands down. He actually won the game today. What did Murphys sack do today? I think Murphy is playing solid but a game changer? I don't think so. He is getting the opportunity to play b/c of injury you cant deny that.

I didn't say anything about who the best player was. I said Hopkins and Murphy have been the Skins most consistent players up to this point. What did Murphy's sack do? Not much I guess as it happened on a 2nd down and two plays later. Cleve's FG kicker nailed that 51 yarder. Even more unfortunate though was the fact that the play just before Murphy's sack. Norman committed an 11 yard PI penalty taking the Browns from 1st and 10 at the Skins 46. To 1st n 10 at the Skins 35. So thanks to ol' Josh, what should've been a 62 yard FG became a 51 yd FG.

And Norman didn't win the game. He made a nice play that helped the Skins preserve a 4 pt lead and set the Skins up with a short field. A nice play by Cuz to PG and nice run by Jones set Jones up to increase the lead from 4 to 11. Technically speaking the game winning play was KC's TD pass to Thompson making the score 24-20 Skins. Just cuz you got a chubby for him doesn't mean he won the game. He made a key play at a critical time. That's kinda his job isn't it considering the jack he's getting.

And I didn't deny Murphy's playing because of injuries to other players. I acknowledged it. It's Football 101 and has happened countless times in the past and will happen countless times in the future. What you should be taking from that is via injury the opportunity presented itself and Murphy is answering the bell with some damn good play. Instead of trying to disparage him or downplay what he's done with some ol' he should be making plays against a third string QB bullshit.

While I give Murph credit for doing a good job and for the most part Norman also this is still a terrible defense. I don't know if they can do much to fix. We will have to wait and see.

Lets be honest. CLE sucks. And we aren't much better. That game should never have been that close. While our defense didn't give up the points, CLE moved the ball at will. If we can't figure out how to stop offenses from running the ball right up the middle for 10 yards a crack, its going to be a very long season.

What do you think will happen when we play a good team?

Getting back to the game this is how I felt as well. They didn't deserve to win, they got lucky with tunovers after being run over all game long. Kinda pissed this is the defensive front 7 SM left us with, can't balme the Galette injury for this situation.

Oh yeah the player Houston traded up to take with our pick in the first round is Fuller, the guy making highlight plays every week.

Did any of you notice this?!

How the heck did we recover the fumble if a Cleveland Browns player is holding the ball?

The Norman int was the play of the game we couldn't stop Cle from running the ball they would of ate up a lot of clock on that drive. I never said Tm wasn't solid.

While we are presently taking up residence in the NFC East cellar pending the Giants game tonight. Its not near as bad at 2-2. As it would be at 1-3 or 0-4.

I'd be lying though if I said I felt good about the team at this point. The defense is a joke and hasn't seen an offense that couldn't run it into the ground. Considering what the Skins did or didn't do in the off-season though. This isn't some shock or something one couldn't see coming. I was hopeful KC would be well on his way to playing as he did last year or playing like he did last year at this point. Its not that he's playing terrible or been exposed as a fraud, but every game it seems to be something.

Anywoo...if y'all win next week against Det and the Skins handle their business against Balt. I expect Skins/Eagles will be the NFC's marquee game the following week. And once again I will marvel at the amazing Joe "Big Head" Buck. Wondering how the hell he manages to maintain his balance and not just teeter the fuck off his chair and into oblivion with that massive cro-knot of his.

Yep - they just have to do the best that they can until they can address issues over the offseason. Like I stated previously - this defense will have to basically be like the one from 2012 & rely on turnovers to ensure that they don't give up way too many pts. People have to remember that this team is still in the middle of a rebuilding process (they let the results of last season fool them somewhat).

I can't believe that some folks are just ready to declare the entire team a disaster - nonsense. Their O line is doing pretty well, Cousins is getting better (still makes the occasional mistake but that happens), their receivers are very good, Jones ran well & their kicking game is one of the best in the NFL. Like most teams they have good areas & bad areas. Give it a little more time. Impatience is what destroyed this team in the first place so why not take the approach of understanding that this is a work in progress.

Yep the build is far from over. I was watching the game last night and man I love a team with a good defense, fun to watch when they shut people down all over the field.

Com-pre-hen-sion
1. the action or capability of understanding something.
"some won't have the least comprehension of what I'm trying to do"
synonyms: understanding, grasp, conception, apprehension, cognition, ken, knowledge,awareness, perception;
interpretation "matters that seemed beyond her comprehension"

Saying Murphy has been the Skins most consistent player after Hopkins. Isn't factually stating, outright saying, kinda sorta implying, or even half-ass suggesting that Murphy is more important to the Skins than Norman.

I can see now why you like Norman so much though. Y'all are like 2 peas in a pod. A really goofy ass and triflin pod.
