When you get a minute could you please change your avatar to a Cowboy helmet. You were in the Cowboys forum saying "We" when you were referring to the Cowboys. You could also register as the 100th Lakers/Cowboy fan on this board too. No rush though.

A Dallas fan complimented the Raiders and we got sidetracked. I said we as in Raiders need to keep getting better.

I love Philly. They were a shit show until Chip Kelly showed up and helped install a winning attitude with back to back 10-6 seasons, and helped bring studs like Jordan Matthews to the team. He should have never been canned, but it's the Niners gain. Pederson should do a good job where Chip left off. Getting Schwartz as DC was the greatest under the radar move of the off season. Got them in both my FF leagues this year. They're gonna tear it up all year on D. If Wentz can do his part, they have as good a chance to win the East as anybody there.

Actually Matthews was drafted by Roseman before Chip took player personnel control. Chips WR was Nelson Agholor, aka the least productive starting WR of 2015 (though showed a glimmer of hope yesterday). His 2nd round pick was Eric Rowe, who I believe was a healthy scratch for New England last week.

Chip brought in Murray, Bradford, let Maclin and Mathis go, traded McCoy for Kiko Alonso, re-signed Mark Sanchez...

I would have been fine keeping him as a coach one more year, but not with player personnel control. That team was not better than where it was 3 years ago.

Nah, Chip loved Matthews for his slot position. He wanted him in round 1 and Howie told him he'd probably be able to get him in round 2. See the way Kerley was used in SF on Monday? Chip loves that spot.

They didn't have a winning attitude before Chip Kelly? Didn't they got to 4 straight NFC championship under the guy before Kelly?

I am no Philly fan but I like to think Im objective

No they wont win the division they will go as far as Wentz takes them as a rookie. I really liked Wentz in the Draft and wanted the Boys to draft him but the eagles made the deal and there ya go .
So far the Giants look the best of the 4
Lets take another look after week 6 and see whats up then but that would be no fun

No. They went 8-8 then 4-12 before Kelly. Chip then came in and took them to b2b winning seasons, including a playoff berth.

Kelly may or may not be a good coach, but he was an absolutely disastrous personnel guy. Paying big money to not one but two injury prone running backs, trading for Sam Bradford, drafting mediocre Oregon players like Josh Huff in the third round--it was really bad.

He's obviously a great coach just getting started in the NFL. You can't bag all over his personal decisions and then ignore his winning record at the same time. You're basically saying he won with trash.

Matthews is Kelly's guy. Drafted in 2014. Kelly wanted him. You can't not give Chip no credit because JM is a stud.

I would LOVE for someone to explain how winning at Home vs the Browns is better than winning on the road vs a division opponent?

They certainly had a bad year the last year of Reid's tenure. But to suggest that the team had no culture of winning is extreme

I didn't say they didn't have a "culture of winning". I said be brought a winning attitude to a team coming off of two bad seasons and a fired HC. Which he did by going 10-6 and returning to the post season. Reid had success in Philly, but not at the end.

No, the Giants look like the best team. That defense is scary good, and I think the offense is as well if they can figure out a running game. Honestly I think we will see the Dallas offense and defense do much better this year and the Giants will end up winning the East.

Not only that, but if they stay healthy, the Giants might have the best WR core in the NFL with Beckham, a healthy Cruz, and Sterling Shepard.

No, I am saying Roseman ran that draft in 2014. Chip took over, moved Roseman out and had the final say in the following draft.

I'm just saying you want to give Chip credit, give him credit for who he drafted, give Roseman credit for who he drafted.
