I don't know that we got better but I don't thing we got worse. We let Pot Roast go and then the Pats cut him. Hatcher retired.

Carolina showed us last night that dline is not important. Denver ran on them with an average oline. Plus they still had to send the house to get pressure on Simein. Im so glad they lost. Denver almost gave them the game at the end.

I hugely doubt it's better . Basically it's a stop gap rotational line with avg guys . So yea Shark is right

That being said we did improve at ILB , safety corner so Next on the plate should be d/line

DLine is not important? Wait a minute. Aren't you the poster who pined over Leonard Williams a while back? He's a DLineman last I checked.

Edit:
Oh, and to the poll question. No, the DL is not better than last year.

I think CB is more important than DT. I wouldn't let my #1 Cb just walk away to sign two DT's. yes I did want a De over an OG at that time. I'm not getting into that again.

Not asking you to get into it again.

Thinking CB is more important than DLine is an opinion that could very well be true. Depending on what type of defense a Def Co or whoever is running said defense wants to run.

Saying DLine is not important is a fallacy that is ass backwards and nonsensical.

This is my take as well. Dean never said he thought a corner was more important, we can all pretty much agree there. No he said "dline is not important" and that is nonsense.

IM just pointing this out DGF... he is BSC and does believe (Now that he has Norman to fixate on) CB is indeed more important than the D-line

pass rusher and Cb are the two most important positions on a defense. I cant see how this is confusing.

I'm wondering if the Skins feel like run defense is much less important than it used to be. Of course, the Skins are opening against a team that has traditionally featured a run dominant offense. So, if the Steelers run effectively but still show they are more interested in passing than running, that should tell us something about the importance of the run in today's brave new NFL world.

good point. But with are Cb's we can allow safeties to help in the running game. that is why Im not worried about it.

Nothing at all is confusing about that. A lot of NFL fans would agree with that assessment. Saying the DLine or DTs/NGs are not important is flat out wrong though.
