Not many comments on Tolleson's implosion last night? I didnt see Chi Chi pitching until the fourth inning, so I don't know how bad he was, aside from the 4 runs I saw he gave up earlier. To me Tolleson was worse it seemed. I know Tolleson has a track record of being better and Gonzalez hasn't ever been as good as expected, but Shawn is still not right to me, though he had a string of no run innings.

I will take a bad outing from Tolleson in a lost cause like yesterday's game. As long as it doesn't happen very often.

When an officer stopped us, Mazara and I immediately became nervous, "I know who you guys are" he said. "Joey Gallo and Nomar Mazara, can I get a picture with you guys please?" It was definitely a first for me and Nomar to have an officer, a true hero, want to meet us. His name is Patrick Zamarripa, one of the officers killed in last nights shootings in Dallas. I'll never forget how kind and down to Earth he was. We ended up having a 15 minute conversation about sports with him. He was an avid Rangers fan. But more importantly a great person, and family man. Please keep Patrick, and all the officers affected and their families in our prayers today. #prayfordallas

Hindsight is 20/20, but the Gonzalez for Ozuna trade that was rumored looks like maybe should have been made.

Rangers, Marlins Swap Pedro Ciriaco, Eric Jokisch

The Rangers have announced a deal with the Marlins involving two minor leaguer players. Lefty Eric Jokisch, who had been outrighted to Triple-A by Miami, will head to Texas in exchange for infielder Pedro Ciriaco.

The 26-year-old Jokisch lost his 40-man spot with the Marlins in a recent series of roster moves. He had pitched to a 4.37 ERA in 35 Triple-A frames on the year, but had recorded just 22 strikeouts while issuing 16 free passes.

Ciriaco, meanwhile, has appeared in six straight major league campaigns but has yet to do so in 2016. The light-hitting 30-year-old is known mostly for his high-quality glovework. He was playing on a minor league deal.

Now this is a swap which could prove to be quiet nice for both sides. Like this one.

Much worse day for him and his family.....I get some of his frustrations.....But how does a young man become so disenfranchised "in America" that he believes this solves/helps, or is part of the improvement/healing process, is beyond me.
