If you are a Bulls fan, you are saying WTF. Traded Rose at 31 for a 35 year old this season who just played over 70 games for first time in 4 years. Sucks but right move for the franchise long term. Good luck to Wade...awesome 13 years or actually 12! My favorite player. Egos, egos, egos.

Not sure if he's my favorite player anymore. He handled this free agency with very little class especially considering he was mainly at fault for missing out on money. Who told him to opt out in 2014 when his buddy Lebron was leaving?

Still my favorite player. Great, great memories and was awesome. No need to be butt hurt. Both sides handled it wrong. Left for less money on an eh team, to pay more state income taxes, to live in the cold and to uproot his family, and to move closer to his ex wife. The latter maybe good for the kids. Wonder what the Bulls fans are thinking. I don't think he plays more than 60 games and bet he and Rajon bicker.

Miami did nothing wrong. You have to make Whiteside your priority over a soon to be 35 year old injury prone guard. Gave Whiteside his money and met with Durant. Two things they had to do before talking contract with Wade. If he wanted more than what Miami could have possibly offered well fuck you. Good riddance. Enjoy getting eliminated in round 1 next season

Expect cheers and jeers when he returns - and our homer , butt hurt color analyst winning and crying about how the home crowd is receiving a former player

Now that the drama queen is gone we can now focus on putting our team together for the coming season.

Not sure the ex wife is even a factor in the kids lives anymore after she seemingly burned that bridge with her actions during their custody battle. This is more about which team would bow down to his financial demands. So fucking glad it wasn't the Heat.

As I said before, we can now move on to putting our team together for the coming season.

Lets give the true Heat lifer, UD, his money.

Cant wait to read the pile-ons on social media and elsewhere blaming Spo for this - you know, the guy that made Wade into the player he turned out to be before he washed up. Spo, the guy who seemingly gets blamed for all the bad in the world --- or just the heat...

Wow.
I go to the movies and miss all this.
Anyway, now sure what he's getting, but if it's more then Riley offered, I'm glad he didn't cave it.

Real Heat fans get it.
Bunker down for a rough season, but there's light at the end of the rainbow.
Next summer we'll be A OK

2 yr/47 million. Not much of a difference at all when you consider the taxes

Money hungry bitches always chasing after that extra dollar.... or 7 mill

Guys. Not sure 7 million after taxes. 47 million at 50 percent nets him 23.5 over 2 years. In Miami 40 million Xs 60 percent nets him 24 million. After taxes, he virtually left for less money since his other earnings subject to a higher tax rate. Left out of spite and ego...

Fuck you andresrenee, I forget about the state tax thing. I am also pretty sure the city of Chicago has a tax as well, but I'd have to look it up.. and I am just to emotionally drained for that.

Settle...settle. Just saying he left for less money out of spite when taxes factored in. So be it. Free to do what he wants. Glad we won't have to see the Kobe years on a great player...my favorite of all time. Thanks for the memories..

LOL. It will all be good. Let's see what Whiteside can do. Don't be surprised if we sign and trade.

Then it def wasn't over money.
He's not making more, after taxes, it's negligible.

It should be obvious to everyone by now that Bosh isn't going to be cleared.

Even with Wade, we'd be borderline playoff team, and I highly doubt hes as healthy or productive as last year.

So, let him go home, play with Rondo ( who 100% needs the ball in his hands), and lose in round 1.

There really couldn't be a better time for a rebuild season IMO.
