Sounds like. A lot of competition which can only be a good thing for the team long term.guess they have been balling out in OTA's.
health does matter. But there's competition at pretty much every position on the roster for the last 2 years. No trading away the future for mentally checked out vets, rookies fighting to make special teams...is this what an NFL franchise looks like?Sounds like. So nice to see a long term plan of team building begin to show fruit. A refreshing change, no doubt. But see it on the field...I must. Been burned too many times at this point by being overly optimistic.
Not to mention...health matters.
Heh, I remember well what having a SB winning franchise is like... With FA and salary caps, lot of challenges involved to build a team for the long haul. The seeds are most definitely being sowed...health does matter. But there's competition at pretty much every position on the roster for the last 2 years. well i was in 4th grade when they beat the bills so i do remember that season (my dad had season tix that year so i got to go to a few games, was at the seat cushion throwing game vs the falcons in the divisional round) superbowl and how well run the franchise was. seems like once they had FA and salary cap the skins went into purgatory until gibbs came back.Heh, I remember well what having a SB winning franchise is like... There's other fanbases in purgatory with us. i actually think cleveland has it worse than we do except once LBJ went back there i stopped feeling bad for them.Skins fans are amazingly loyal, given the crap teams we've fielded. Feel like only Browns fans can compete in that category. One of the things I admire most about our fan base. A SB season would be a very welcome reward for the pain this franchise has endured (and the alcoholics it has created)...
I am optimistic that we could challenge for a ring some day soon. Amazing I can even say that. For years I felt I'd never be able to hope to say those words again.
And many teams with no SBs at all. There's other fanbases in purgatory with us. i actually think cleveland has it worse than we do except once LBJ went back there i stopped feeling bad for them.
i'm indifferent to the browns even with RG3 there. going to be an interesting matchup in october. i'm glad we will have some tape on them as well as a lot of the defense remembering his tendencies from going after him in practice. And many teams with no SBs at all.
I wouldn't mind seeing the Browns succeed, tho adding Griffin to their roster makes that impossible for some I know.
I wish the Browns no success against us, to be clear.i'm indifferent to the browns even with RG3 there. going to be an interesting matchup in october. i'm glad we will have some tape on them as well as a lot of the defense remembering his tendencies from going after him in practice.
