DC shot someone in Iowa and his parents covered it up (but told him not to do that again)?
Well the official police report has come out. Talib did not shoot himself. He was assaulted by an unknown suspect. So that really changes things in the sense of possible NFL punishment.
Heard interesting comments regarding wound. At a " downward" trajectory, it pierced his thigh and continued down to ankle. Pretty hard to imagine someone shot at him unless he was well above him. The wound according to report was consistent with accidental self inflicted injury. He also told police he was at a park when shot. Those comments could also be misguided reports. Don't think all the facts are out yet.Well the official police report has come out. Talib did not shoot himself. He was assaulted by an unknown suspect. Yeah it's the entrance, exit trajectory that makes things very tough to explain. Be tough for his brother to accidentally pull that off too. IDK, Don't think the " cats out of the bag " yet. Hope whatever comes out there's no NFL suspension involved.I don't think all the reports are out either. One that I think could be emerging more over the next few days is that Talib is trying to protect his brother. That is brother was messing around next to Talib and the gun went off.
shooting yourself in the park a misdemeanor. shooting yourself where alcohol is served is a felony.
No matter what, it's not going to have a good ending for Denver fans. And shooting yourself anywhere is just plain stupid!
Anyway now I'm hearing Talib was initially identified as a "victim" and not a "suspect" by DPD. Who the hell knows. Even if he's a victim it's hard to believe he's entirely innocent. Hell, I'm 8 or so years older than the man and I've been to a fucking war zone and I've never been shot. To have the life of an NFL player, you have to work at it to end up getting shot.

Meh- I mean if they can't prove he had a gun, there isn't an NFL rule saying you can't get drunk and get shot.![]()
Like I said, the repercussions, which are forthcoming, will be dictated by what laws he broke first then the punishments will rear their head systematically. You would have to be extremely optimistic if this ended well regardless of any info coming out.No reports what I have seen of him having a gun or shooting a gun.
Only speculation that he may have shot himself and rumors that he thinks he may have shot himself but was too drunk to remember.
If there is no prove of anything then he will get off free as there is no suspension in the NFL for getting shot.
But if he is found guilty of having a gun then that is another issue especially with his prior record and suspension.
Legally through the legal system the police report is claiming he was shot not by himself.
Still under investigation.
