Don't like the Bobbie.....

This line made me laughFirst of all Easton Md is beautiful, and Philly is not.
Second of all, that sub place is awful. The Bobbie was perhaps one of the single most disgusting sandwiches I've ever had. Just nasty.Never been back.
My two cents.
Raised in Philly, spent 13 years living in Hockessin De. Also spent 4 years in Las Vegas. In Delaware, I liked Cassapulas more, I hated Crappiottis in Vegas, I avoided them in Delaware too. My son loves the Bobby. If you grew up where I grew up, you know that Capriotti's is the best sub joint and the Bobbie is the greatest sandwich ever. Usually I go to the one near me in Newark, but I was up in Wilmington today and I was reading a newspaper article on their wall that said that a Cap's opened in DC. Has anyone had their delicious sandwiches? If not, go. You'll thank me later.
Casapulla's??? Say it 'aint so manny!!!Raised in Philly, spent 13 years living in Hockessin De. Also spent 4 years in Las Vegas. In Delaware, I liked Cassapulas more, I hated Crappiottis in Vegas, I avoided them in Delaware too. My son loves the Bobby.
My favorite Cheese Steak place was Greenhill Deli. but they changed rolls from Aversa to Amoroso. Aversa was so much better.Casapulla's??? Say it 'aint so manny!!!
Did you ever go to a sub place called Gaudiello's in Trolly Square?
Never been. 4th Street is a shithole, so when I am in it, it's only because I'm trying to get somewhere else, and I always speed through it. Next time you're back in DE, you got to try Gaudiello's Italian hoagie. Best Italian sandwich you'll ever have. But by far, the best cheesesteak in Delaware is Goodfellas in Prices Corner (Wilmington suburbs)My favorite Cheese Steak place was Greenhill Deli. but they changed rolls from Aversa to Amoroso. I forgot, you just rattled my memory. In Prices Corner, down the street from the Exxon station, next to Bald Stewies or whatever that bar is called these days, is a place that has only been open for about a year. Easily the best food out of any of those places. I forgot the name, it is something like Antonios and something else. I really can't remember. I had the best Pizza Steak in my life there. Everything else I have eaten there has been delicious. Give your taste buds a treat and check that place out.Never been. 4th Street is a shithole, so when I am in it, it's only because I'm trying to get somewhere else, and I always speed through it. Hm, never heard of it. I'll be on the lookoutI forgot, you just rattled my memory. Dude, trust me. Best fucking sandwich everThat thing was voted "Greatest Sandwich in America" several years ago? Looks a little gross, and I can think of several subs/sandwiches that are better. Then again - to be fair - I have never tried it - maybe I will seek it out in Vegas.
Heading to Vegas for the extended weekend. Could you please provide a few more good places for subs/deli sandwiches? Thanks.
The only Deli I've eaten on is Stage Deli, and enmven that's been a few years ago. The thing is food in Vegas has become a major attraction, it's getting hard to find a bad place to eat. Earl of Sandwich is,a place I've been meaning to try but every time I'm near it the line is about 30 deep, and I hate waiting in lines. Earl has at least two shops, one in Planet Hollywood and one on Ceasers.
There's an Italian place in the Forum Shops at Ceasers called Carmine's I will highly recommend, just don't over order, one entree will feed two. If you go to Carmine's look the up on line, they don't handctgem out at the table, it's on the wall, if you don't have a good view of it they tell you you can walk over to it, but then your standing in front of others eating their meal.
Most of my eats is NW Las Vegas if you have a car there's a true Jewish Deli called The Bagel Cafe, it rivals any Jewish deli I've been to in Rockville.
If you like tacos, and have a car go to Tacos El Gordo (I-15 & Cheyenne). It is out of Tejuana and best tacos I can remember having.
Before you step into a place check there prices, some are way to steep for a damp hamburger. Wife and I once had a breakfast buffet without knowing what the price was and ended op paying $170.00 for a couple of omelets.
Dude, trust me. Best fucking sandwich ever
There used to be one right on Sahara between the strip and the highway. Not sure if it is still there. The last time I lived in Vegas was 1998.You might be right & now I just might have to try it. I see that there is one only a few miles from Caesars so I might give it a try.

You should have no problems finding good food on the strip. One place I've been meaning to try is Cabo Wabo, no idea how good the food is but Sammy Hagar owns it. Just about every casino has a deli and a steak house so options are there. FYI the $170 breakfast was at Jasmine's in the Bellagio, I don't recommend that place unless your trying to impress a lady.Thanks. This will be one of their busiest weekends of the year so my options may be limited. No car this time so that will limit it more. I will be on the lookout for some of your suggestions - appreciate it.
I do believe it's still there, same parking lot as "The Holden Steer" an old Las Vegas steak house. I do recommend this place for a great steak dinner. The Rat Pack used to frequent it.There used to be one right on Sahara between the strip and the highway. Not sure if it is still there. The last time I lived in Vegas was 1998.
Someone left a window open. I will leave of I must.Who let all these Bird Brains into the room?
