Question for D.C. residents

If you grew up where I grew up, you know that Capriotti's is the best sub joint and the Bobbie is the greatest sandwich ever. Usually I go to the one near me in Newark, but I was up in Wilmington today and I was reading a newspaper article on their wall that said that a Cap's opened in DC. Has anyone had their delicious sandwiches? If not, go. You'll thank me later.

Yes. I hate to see Cap's expand to such disgusting places but I'm also happy it's getting such recognition. It's Wilmington, Delaware's own. Try it next time you're anywhere (~30 miles) near one

There is one on 1800 M Street NW. I have been a number of times. As someone who was born in Philly I consider myself a Philly and Cheesesteak connoisseur. Their Italian is very good. Their meatball only so so.

I like Jersey Mike's as much if not more. Either way you can't go wrong getting an Italian/Philly hoagie from either place.

Very possible. Stage Deli in the MGM is a great NY Deli.

First of all Easton Md is beautiful, and Philly is not.

Second of all, that sub place is awful. The Bobbie was perhaps one of the single most disgusting sandwiches I've ever had. Just nasty.Never been back.

Ah, thanks, I always make myself a sandwich with all the Thanksgiving leftovers I can get my hands on. The key is the cranberry, keeps it from being too dry.
