Looks like Murray is getting his wish. The Eagles have been busy cleaning up Chip's messes.

It could be good for Mariota to have a good RB behind him who can also catch. Murray was not used the same as he was in Dallas and it showed. He didn't even have 200 carries as a runner in Philly compared to nearly 400 in his last year with Dallas. But DM still had over 1000 yards from scrimmage so he'll help Tennessee out. I think he's the kind of back you need to feed early and often though, so I hope the Titans do that.

I think with this move, barring a trade back, guarantees that Tennessee drafts Tunsil with the #1 pick. Shore up that O-line.

I like this move for Tennessee and for DM. DM should see the ball more, and that should take some pressure off of Mariota. Kind of the Seahawk/Wilson/Beast model if you will. It's good for a young QB to have a stud RB and we know Murray is capable of that if he's given the ball enough.

A good trade for the Titans.

Maybe, but they weren't offering what Philly was so what's a guy supposed to do? RB is a short lived position (career wise) in the NFL. May as well make as much as you can while you can.

I know I get that part.... It would be tempting for anyone... What did the Cowboy's offer him ?

I don't remember but I think it was a pretty low ball offer considering the guy just had a phenomenal, nearly record breaking year.

I think it was his injury past though that made the Cowboy's balk a little... I just googled it, I guess they offered him 5 mill a year.... In Philly he was gonna make around 6 mill a year.... So either way he was set for life... I guess Philly gave him 21 Mill guaranteed though...

Unless something major changes in the offensive philosophy for the Titans, Murray can probably kiss his career goodbye. He can expect a total lack of consistency and run support next season.
